Sorry this is late. I wanted to make sure I capture all the boss attacks and how to deal with them. He is one of the easier bosses, but have really good looking attacks.
Idk why but this boss breaks my Zhongli shield?? Granted he only has 30k hp but still very few content in the game do that but I for the first time today my Zhongli's up fell below 50%??
@@ruerue8295 Gotta combine it with a bit of dodging even if you're not that good at it. Also take note of your shield uptime. I haven't really build my Zhong Li, so I just used him for the shield at the moment. Open with Zhong's shield, switched to main DPS, dodge if necessary, switch back to Zhong for Shield, switch to main DPS again, repeat. Sure it takes some time to finish, but eh, that's how I do anyway. What makes this boss easy is the fact that he doesn't really move around the arena. Even if he moved, it's only like 2-3 dash away.
@@Seusspicyous ohh I am absolutely used to timing the renewal of zhongli shield since I have him since his first banner. I just am not in the habit of dodging a lot when I have him on team since his shield tanks everything and the only few time it breaks is with Azhdaha and childe so I didn't expect an elite boss to be able to break it lol, gotta dodge now.
i remember when i first started genshin, the electro cube was hard for me to defeat then when i searched online, your vid came up and it's such an easy guide to follow. im not kidding when i say your boss guide vids carry me till later ar :> thanks tsoul!
I also noticed that if you use a kid character like qiqi and stay behind him somewhere around the behind of his left leg, when he does his slow charge aoe iai slash (1:00) you wont get hit because the hitbox of the kid characters are small enough and the angle/arc of his swing is high enough that he slashes above your head. Kinda hard to do and it also requires you to have a kid character but the option is there.
Indeed i love mihoyo ways at keeping detail.. My experience usually other game will just equalize every char hit"point" U can even dodge magu/childe diagonal slash unintentionally by some low stance attck combo.. I seen this somewhere with hutao

I'm almost wondering if the 'limited time area' is a fakeout, and while this specific semi-instanced area won't be available, it will get integrated into the overworld map. Then again, maybe not. I think I saw a quote somewhere that Yoimiya is somehow related to 'current' versions of this boss. Though not sure how that would make sense since she's more about pyrotechnics.
It's probably just me, but I feel like this new map is a permanent one? It doesnt make sense for me, that the gadgets and new gathering material that can be found in the island are permanent as they dont have a timer of expire and the new boss as well, unless Mihoyo will transfer this to Inazuma later on, sure.
@@Linh_Tran-49 my phone has 200-300 ping and because it has really good graphics I can play the game, it’s just when I’m outside with 999 ping using mobile data I use an iPhone 8
you can actually i-frame the "dual sword transition", the key is when maguu kenki is about to slam his swords. btw, thanks for the blue phantom donut aoe attack, I thought it's going to hit me even when I'm closer to maguu kenki, I always run away as far as I could lol.

I love fighting this boss, honestly. Though I find his attacks quite sluggish and easy to dodge, if you're caught in his way, he'll deal a lot of damage. A great boss, but my fave is still Lupus Boreas. I find the wolf's final phase form really cool and exciting to go against.

Thanks to this I actually no-damage'd Maguu on the 5th try not realizing that the rewards are not no-hit, but rather no-hit mask attacks lmao. I'm so dumb. Still, fantastic guide tho. It works really well on my Phone with low ping.
I want a proper guide for this boss but all other YT guides have zongli and just doing some random op dmg. But this guide is soo good. Especially the donut attack info.
Another tip is to put kaeya or double anemo in your team to reduce sprint stamina. Do not use child/loli on this fight as their sprint is not fast enough. Shields do not help in completing the challenge if you get hit by the mask's slash even though you're hp is not reduced. Teleport out and teleport back in to reset the boss quickly.
That's what I say and I've used all my shielders in the team. I had 100% shield uptime with no HP lost but did not get the achievement whatsoever. But people claiming they got the achievment by tanking which I doubt hard.

I really love maguu kenki's boss mechanics, his animation startups are slow but it's still pretty hard to time the i-frame dashes. I'll have to practice this boss more to make the fight more fluid based on this guide
you're a god send, i sucked so bad at this boss and just used to spam shields and food. Now i can solo him with any of my dps. It's incredible how scary a boss seems until you learn all his attacks and can predict them. Then it just becomes easy. All thanks to you my friend ;)

The problem with this boss in abyss 12 is that if you don't have a Zhongli there is no way to beat his level before 3min because you have to move away and get closer to keep the damage constant.. you lose 1min just dodge his attacks, if you did well on side A, you will have 2 minutes left, discounting the minute dodging, you only have 60 seconds of constant attack to kill him... if you don't have monstrous 5-star DPS, it's impossible to do your 9 stars...

So, I just got Kazuha. I never really bothered with Inazuma bosses till now so I decided to just bit the bullet and fought the Perpetual Mechanical Array cause I thought that's where I get his ascend materials. A long fight and lots of food later, I realized it wasn't even the right boss... I thought this boss might be easier than the PMA but nooo took me three tries to finally defeat him. Thanks for the video btw! That breakdown of each attacks he use is really helpful!

Okay that video is useful you successfully recovered all the attacks and how to dodge them but I have a little missing detail from your video : when he pull up his second sword and getting really to do his strongest move instead of running away ,get as close as you can then use your burst (it doesn't matter what character you use)the animation of the burst will make You immune to the attack ,of course in order to do that you need a fully charged burst and the right timing
In 2.0 when he teleports back he can go out of the arena and you’ll have to start all over again. when he’s near the edge of the arena try and make sure that YOU always face the middle so he teleports there
thanks so much for the guide, i couldn't pass up that 20k mora lol a trick i used was bringing rosaria, sometimes to avoid the attacks i went too far and triggered the painful long-ranged attacks, so rosaria's skill that basically teleports you prevents that and also she's a nice superconduct support.

I believe based on my observations the parry can be triggered by Xingqiu's Rainswords by his ult. Once I stopped activating his elemental burst for one boss fight I got the reward for not activating the parry.

If you have Zhongli c0 with his shield maxed you will have no problems.
Even noelle with 1200 def shield can take all his dmg..easy

@@Luneward I think a full map does show that this archipelago is not coming to the main map, and the Maguu Kenki will have its own spot in Inazuma

The dual sword transition messed me up. As a beidou main, i was baffled to see she took damage even when im using her elemental skill.

The dual sword transition is so strong... It's the first att from any boss that I can't fully shield with my beidou's shield
just found out that u can dash around the boss while being right next to him to dodge the projectile slash, then return to hitting much sooner

I have 27 drops out of 46 tho so only 7 more times :,)
me just running out of stamina cause he starts doing another spinny attack one right after the other as soon i approach
To dodge those slashes what i usually do is run in a circle, it often works but sometimes it doesnt, and sometimes im just out of stamina 🥲

I believe based on my observations the parry can be triggered by Xingqiu's Rainswords by his ult. Once I stopped activating his elemental burst for one boss fight I got the reward for not activating the parry.
I like this boss.
Though I am a bow main, the boss is still doable for me :)
