- MEDIEVAL ENGLAND - KINGDOM OF ENGLAND
The Kingdom of England emerged from the gradual unification of the early medieval Anglo-Saxon kingdoms known as the Heptarchy: East Anglia, Mercia, Northumbria, Kent, Essex, Sussex, and Wessex.
On 12 July 927, Anglo-Saxon kingdoms were finally united by King Athelstan to form the Kingdom of England. It was among the most powerful states in Europe during the medieval period.

Nice video. However, the Welsh princes and Scotland were feudatories of Henry II after the treaties of Geddington and Falaise respectively. Richard would abrogate Scottish and Welsh vassalage. Also Henry II and Richard were not of the house of Blois.
@Jay100 Do you realize what feudatories means? Vassalage or homage. One could make the argument that the Welsh princes had rendered a kind of homage to William Rufus or Henry I, but under Henry II it became much clearer following English incursions in 1157 and the Welsh acceptance of homage at Geddington. Regarding Scotland, Henry II retained complete overlordship over William the Lion and his vassals and intervened as feudal overlord in William’s affairs (his marriage to Ermengarde de Beaumont) and the Scottish lords’ appeal for assistance to Henry over William’s head in the matter of Roland fitzUhtred. If you would more carefully read my original comment you would understand that I did not suggest that the Welsh and Scots rendered homage to “England” as a political entity separable from the sovereign (something not entirely non-existent in the 12th century as you seem to think) but to the king of England himself: Henry II, recognizing his hegemony which is effectively a first in English history.

Medieval France History ( 888 - 1848 ). Every Year.
you are also quite knowledgeable but actually the medieval history of France started from 481 or 987 I don't know and ended in 1589 when Henry IV ascended the throne and created the Bourbon dynasty, That's my opinion
@@memesfactory9945 As a Frenchman, I consider our Medieval age to be between 496 (Tolbiac battle and Clovis' corronation) and 1453 (end of the 100 yars war). From 1453, France main rival is no more England but the Habsburgs - Spain and Austria. In addition, there is no war on the French soil between 1453 and 1589 so we can consider this period as a part of the Rennaissance period in France.
@@christopheripoll2580 But the Frankish Kingdom is founded in 481CE
Normandy shouldn’t be shown as part of England from 1087-1106, as Robert II was duke there. It was only reunited with the English crown after the Battle of Tinchebray.
Additionally, Maine should not be shown as part of Normandy after 1070 (William did manage to recover Maine for a period when Robert mortgaged his Duchy to him while on crusade, but I am not sure for how long).

How on earth could you leave out the tragic and utterly heroic King Harold in 1066? Shameful really.
Because he reigned breifly and he was defeated by William, Duke of Normandy (William I) not long after Æthelred the Unred died in 1066 so he wasn't shown in the picture but he was listed in the video description tho.
