I’m not worried if we have a running back problem there will be tons of them once preseason and final rosters are being put together. We’ve also been known to trade for a running back we are loaded next year wit draft picks with an extra 4 compensatory picks I’ll ask you this. Would you rather be needing a offensive lineman or a running back and what are you most likely to get if you traded

Said it before and ill say it again. I think zekes diminshed running ability not only comes from wear n tear, but also bad runblocking oline. Especially when travis was forced to retire. Thatscwhen zekes production fell off a cliff and cowboys oline hasnt really been good ever sense and often plagued with injuries, especially tyron. But if either brock hoffman and cooper beebee are great centers(gotta be better than biadaz) and guyton learns and fits right in as our left tackle, then i can see a bit of a zeke resurgence. At that point id see if deuce can be that change of pace back with his speed. A thunder and lightning 2.0 if you will, only this time with vaughn instead of pollard and with pass catchers that dak actually trusts.

Unlike Zeke, Emmitt Smith didn't have knee issues that hampered him late in the season

Use him in short yards situation and goal line. They need to trade to get a legit RB and soon to get the guy in the building.

Cheap, 1-2 yard blast into the end zone, blocking. Etc. he knows Dallas. Nothing wrong with taking him back

This is such a Jerry Jones, "we like our guys" move. You bring back Zeke but you won't bring back Gillmore or Hankins? Can't wait for another season of 2-3 yards and a cloud of dust.

We tried that idea with the WR a few years ago, it didn't work = Amari

@bmorris8276 I thought Amari did work, the Jones didn't like him for some reason. One of the best route runners

We tried this the year before we drafted Zeke, and it did not work at all, and it is the whole reason why we drafted Zeke in the first round the following year! So the Cowboys never learn from their mistakes!
