Haven't heard this solo so clean in awhile and last time I heard around 130 was are percussion head and I went to a performance arts school. ( I played Yellow After Rain on Marimba lol didn't want that snare smoke lol)
Holy cow! I haven't thought of this piece in 35 years! Just popped into my head for some reason. I never got anywhere near this speed. Got it memorized and was able to play it cleanly about 1/2 to 3/4 of this speed. Bravo, dude! Sounded fantastic!
Playing this solo today, only had a few months to learn it but i got it to 110 bpm... This video actually helped a lot with how its supposed to sound though
Amarianda Loreli I recommend using the moeller method for beginning it REALLY helps if mastered then if you want you can build on being more dependent on your wrists
I usually start off slow with a metronome and bump up by 2 every time I have it locked in. Your muscles will get used to it as long as you do small increments.
Agreed, why use these high tension Carbon Fiber Scotch Drums instead of a conventional marching snare ? Try one with Rope tension and you will have Sound instead of speed.
Good lord!! That's maximum speed and pure quality!
Frickin props to you dude this solo is a beast 👏🏻
Thank you!
Closest I've heard to 130 bpm. Incredible.
