I would have loved to seen the actual pedal settings instead of a stock photo

I use my SD-1 with level max, about 3 o’clock, and just a touch of gain. You can experiment with them, it got just 3 knobs 😅

@@tomijaroli8781 you can experiment with them if you already own them. But if you’re researching before buying, that isn’t possible.

If I were a betting man, wait I love gambling… anyways it’s likely level up all the way, gain down all the way (or almost), tone somewhere between noon and 3 o clock. Same way everyone’s been using these types of pedals for decades.

Seems like the SD1 would be more useful for lower tunings considering how bright it is

You could hear more dynamic character in the SD-1, i personally love gravitating towards that to boost a fluence moderns on both voices 1 and 2. You can hear the dynamic character of both voices a lot better with the SD-1, as well as a lot of other transparent overdrives and boosts.
I've been curious to try out an entirely clean boost like a Walrus Audio Warhorn or a TC Electronics Spark clean boost for some of my passive pickups and the fluence moderns. I use a Boss GT-1000 and usually boost my amp with the mid boost and i've been able to get my tones into Gojira territory with some of my guitars.

I love the sd-1 with my EVH Stealth. That pedal just slays on that amp!!!

Which version of the Stealth do you have? 50W or 100W?

@@jorgepoti1718I don’t think it matters. All tube amps benefit from a boost. At least to my ears they do. I can’t stand unboosted guitar tones when it comes to the high gain stuff. The flubby stuff sounds gross 🤮

I couldn`t hear a difference between them. Both sounded the same. Cool riffs bro...

They’re being used as a boost, homie, not the full drive. He’s only showing them for reference
