Ghostblade is such a phenomenal character, I LOVE that he’s kind of close to angel of death but not quite. He raised a zombie army from the dead, and his wings are blades with skeletons, his wings represent him so well. Even Yan, her wings are cut/ gone, representing how lost and hurt she is
I don't even know what to say- I already saw this piece on Instagram and I just sat there staring at it for 5 minutes with an open mouth, I just cannot believe how beautiful it is
WLOP is unbelieveable. WLOP has always been and will forever be my inspiration in digital art. The reason i was interested in digital art was because of WLOP's artworks❤

I tend to think of it as more of a symbolic approach. In fact, the skeletons _are_ the wings, each holding a sword. As it’s entitled “Salvation”, I opine Ghostblade meant if it were to save/Protect Yan (the princess), the sacrifice and the results won’t be pretty for him and other people.
Yan is like an innocent child and he's like an old man about loking for a way to die. We've seen ths story manu times, I doubt he'll survive saving Yan from her fate.

He has a webtoon on tapas called "ghostblade" where these characters come from. Only updates about every 6 months toa year but it is hella worth the wait. But if it ever did become animated... holy crap that would be a dream come true

Amazing and telling a story I see the wounds on the woman's back so now I'm wondering if she was like him or something different. His attire looks like he was a soilder for darkness and she was a maiden for the forces of light was it forbidden love that caused this outcome? This scene is very interesting great work as usual 👍🏽

@@jutea9858 yes he's just a freelance artist and is actually more of a software engineer right now, but his talent is something else, and can be used in the animation industry. Besides, he uses blender as well so he knows a bit about animation already...if this ever happens lol but then again, it's just "if i ever", and another "what-if"
