well I'm pretty sure she it's actually trying to get multiple plates. I ended up homeless right out the foster system for about 6 years, and I took pride in looking clean, waking up every day, finding a way to shower, brush my teeth, and go to drop in center's for clothes. I promise you wouldn't even know I was homeless because I always still tried to dress apart. You would think I lived a normal life, but at the end of the day, I would go sleep on a roof. So I guess all that to say we sometimes we never know.

I just want to put it out there that the stereotype that homeless people have to be dressed in ragged unwashed clothes, messy hair, etc is harmful! It’s not always true because people can be homeless on the streets or in their cars. They can live in motels as well. You can wash your clothes at the laundry mat for 50c. There have been college students who are homeless too and the food pantry at the college is usually open to all. No judging “are you really struggling to provide food for yourself?” You can be starting a job, waiting for a paycheck- to buy food… all these different circumstances, who are we to judge them?

I understand people choose to be vegan or vegetarian, and that's fine. In this instance you just take all the meat off the kebab and eat the veggies and give the meat to other people then.
