Got a different model but effectively the same software( hoover HL C8LF) Checked and my machine was blanking 21 times, took the cover off and there was the reset button. The machine is now functioning again. Thanks for sharing, great bit of knowledge.

can ask u something else about the dryer.. mine dose not stay on for more than 20 minutes a go. is there anything to get it working for longer or us something? broken
I put it on smart mode, then press the timer button to set to 60/90/120 etc. I found all of the other modes to be very annoying and switching off all the time
When starting a cycle on our Candy grand, it will run for a few seconds then all the lights flash and the machine stops. Could this be fixable problem?

Either youve got the tumble dryer too close to something on the left hand side and the vent isn’t getting any air, or it’s completely clogged with lint. If it’s not close to something then I’d recommend unplugging it and taking the top off to see if it’s full of lint inside
Feel like to make it easier in the future remove that panel and drill a hole over where that button is and next time you can just pop a cocktail stick or tooth pick in to reset it. Seems mental the button is not exposed feels like a way to just charge people call out fees haha. No more with your video tho!

Brilliant video. Could you share what setting you have the stupid thing set at. I’m unable to set it for a set period of time.
I put it on smart touch then press the time button and it cycles through the durations

It needs to be sealed to allow hot air to enter the dryer.
I have this dryer and took the back off and I don’t have a button to press, maybe that my issue! Ffs haha
