Have an even worse season than the year prior, and talks of him on the hot seat. The fans ran off a coach who consistently won 8 games a season for multiple coaches who struggle to win 4-5.

I say this out of love because I do love Auburn. There appears to be an extreme lack of discipline and cohesion across-the-board, primarily with the coaching staff, but that’s been the narrative over the past five coaches or more. It’s difficult to think that the real issue is too much background noise. I would love to be a fly on the wall when game plan talks occur between the Head Coach and the staff that he answers to.
If you saw the exchange between the Hc and Qb in the 4th quarter where he was trying to coach and qb and looked like he was maybe arguing but definitely not allowing the coach to coach. That there is the main problem with Auburn. By in, trust, accountability is not there for all players and not being earned by the coach. Also after every bad pass the Qb was immediately blaming the receivers and everyone could see it. Ou has their issues but culture within the program is not one of them.

I predict a 4-8 finish for this team, maybe 5-7, and no bowl game. They do seem to be improving. Young team will be better next year, assuming they can get a good quarterback. Need to use the rest of the season to give the young guys some game experience.
Wow, the press conference was kind of sh** show too. Really didn’t acknowledge OUs effort. Especially down 3 starting OL, 5 starting WR, and two (starting rotation) DBs. Not to mention starting kicker and last years #1 ranked RB outta HS. We weren’t afforded (yes, I’m a former Sooner), excuses last week when we were down all these same players, turned the ball over twice immediately following a Vol TO. One of them was Arnold losing the ball on the 5. In this game the Sooners had multiple big plays called back due to questionable penalties on a couple. Just lose gracefully is all I’m saying
I'm assuming Auburn gives Freeze 3 years to fix this given the shape the program was in when he came in. Last year was rough and the bowl game was an embarrassment. Auburn maybe 2-3 but they've only looked good in the opener against directional alabama. I don't see how any AU fans buy tickets for home games the rest of this year.
Sooner fan here. I know a loss like this is the worse. Your team dominated this game for probably 80% of the game both sides of the ball. Honestly I had given up in 4th quarter. After playing Tennessee the previous week I really felt like Auburn was a better overall team than Tennessee. Definitely gave our defense more problems. If you can somehow get past the untimely turnovers, Auburn is going to win a lot of games.
To be fair, they havent really had many opportunities to practice time management while leading! They are usually playing catch up. They looked great for all but a pick six and Kaiyan Lee getting beat deep. When we're rolling like we were in third quarter its pretty impressive! After what we're seeing from GA tonight, im getting REALLY interested in what betting lines will be for the game against them next week. Might be some money to be made.

One of them was Arnold losing the ball on the 5. In this game the Sooners had multiple big plays called back due to questionable penalties on a couple. Just lose gracefully is all I’m saying
Well because it wasn't OU's effort that won the game. It was Auburn's effort to lose it that was the problem.
Especially on 3rd and 4!! Why throw. Hunter could have easily got those yards and when is our kicker coming back
I'm assuming Auburn gives Freeze 3 years to fix this given the shape the program was in when he came in. Last year was rough and the bowl game was an embarrassment. Auburn maybe 2-3 but they've only looked good in the opener against directional alabama. I don't see how any AU fans buy tickets for home games the rest of this year.

How do you end the losing culture on this team? Coach Freeze is clueless. Outside of recruiting, this coach and staff are worse than Potato Head.
You start with a winning coach that's on the way up rather than a gin soaked loser that has to pay to get laid.
Freeze is not the answer Auburn. Really good coordinator but leaves a lot to be desired as a head coach.

Sooner fan here. I know a loss like this is the worse. Your team dominated this game for probably 80% of the game both sides of the ball. Honestly I had given up in 4th quarter. After playing Tennessee the previous week I really felt like Auburn was a better overall team than Tennessee. Definitely gave our defense more problems. If you can somehow get past the untimely turnovers, Auburn is going to win a lot of games.
Auburn just needs to find a way to finish, but we always find a way to lose. Good game, I hope you're right about the last part. War Damn.

To be fair, they havent really had many opportunities to practice time management while leading! They are usually playing catch up. They looked great for all but a pick six and Kaiyan Lee getting beat deep. When we're rolling like we were in third quarter its pretty impressive! After what we're seeing from GA tonight, im getting REALLY interested in what betting lines will be for the game against them next week. Might be some money to be made.

@@Hutchdh that’s totally dependent on how the sec schedule lands. if you play Texas, TN, Bama, Ole miss, Lsu, Oklahoma. A 7-5 season isn’t the worst year 3. If we get someone like deuce knight then i think there’s an exception if he plays well and we lose close games it’s whatever but a 6-6 or less is unacceptable i would agree. because we should be 4-1 right now with better coaching. but we aren’t gonna get a guy that can bring in more talent that freeze. and his defensive staff is elite.
