Absolutely loving this brand! A very fresh take on Japanese watchmaking. They're definitely up there with GS & Credor in terms of their design details.
Very nice to see a spotlight on some Japanese indie watches. The whole aesthetic of what Minase does feels very Swiss watches from the 70s. Adore the bracelet on that thing as it reminds me of some vintage Rado models and the floating-dial is fun. Another great video Chris!
Refreshing learning about new brands! I’m speechless with some of these Minase dials. So burnt out from Rolex, gs, Tudor, seiko, etc. (whilst they’re all great). Subscribed Ty
Minase is one of my favorite watch brands. I look forward to owning one. I wish they would make a more neutral looking bracelet for women. Great review, thank you!
Subscribed. Thanks for featuring Minase. I like their 5-Windows though I'm not sure I could rock that style & size. But this model might work for me. I'll investigate.
Great heritage for such a young brand right? Their current lineup is pretty impressive and definitely has their own unique identity associated with their brand heritage. I love it! Thanks a lot for watching!
Killer ? GS movements are in a completely different ligue. Minase movement is based on an ETA movement: Accuracy of the ETA caliber 2892-A2 can range from as much as +/-20 seconds per day to just +/-5 seconds/day. Designs are spectacular that’s sure.
You’re right! They are a very young company in comparison to GS. I’m hoping with time, they will develop their own calibers that will be unique to their design language. They are on the right track with their cases and bracelets! I’m excited how they will evolve in the coming years. Thanks a lot for watching!

I have discovered them about 6 (or so) months ago and it was also nice timing prior to them releasing more editions to their existing lines. I actually plan to go and see them here in the UK at an event, since this is the only way I can go to take a close look, try it on and maybe make short photos/video skits to see how it feels. Personally, I am open minded in regards to what model I would want eventually, but atm if I had to pick only one I would go with Divido Shibo-Urushi (the "sky of shells" version) :)
It's one of those watching where you really have to see it in person to get the full experience. The Urushi lacquered Divido's are beautiful. I was able to see them at the WindUp Watch Fair in SF and the level of detail is incredible. Excited for you to take a look at them. Thanks for watching!
Yes I have desired one of these or a 7-Windows for years. It is what I am saving up for. I would love to see them put a spring drive in one, then I woud have the best of GS AND a real stunner of a Minase...
For sure, the design is great, better than a lot of luxury brand, but i am also tired with nice brand with relative accuracy...but yes its a perfect and impressive design
It’s not for everyone and overall value may appear a bit tough to tip you over the edge to buy a piece from Minase. However, in hand, you can see how the price is reflected in its case design and finishing. I’m hoping one day they will use an updated in-house caliber unique to their current design language. However, that will probably take some time to develop. It should be really interesting how the brand grows! Thanks so much for watching!
You pulled that one out of the bag Chris. First I've heard, handsome piece can definitely see it's influences but why not everyone copies everyone. What does Minase mean? Like how you sneak the Goyard in, bet it's your wife's.
Love finding these smaller brands that deserve more love. Thanks for stopping by again. And you’re almost right about the Goyard! It was a gift from my wife and is happily my daily wallet!

Super fresh. Always good to see brands adding their flare!

I can totally get that vibe too! Thanks for stopping by!
Heard and found your review via search. Thanks for the review! Love their watches
Glad you enjoyed my video! I never looked into Minase before and was such a pleasure to discover this brand. Thanks for watching :)
Brilliant video. My first time hearing about this brand. Wow!!!
Thanks again for watching! Yes, I love finding these smaller brands that deserve the recognition 😃

Exactly! It’s always good to refresh the palate here and there with new brands. Thanks for watching and the sub!

The 5-windows is absolutely gorgeous! I’m a big fan but thought I’d give the Horizon some love. Thanks a lot for watching! 😃
I see a lot of Moser in thier designs, love it .
Never heard of this brand, but I love the story and am interested in seeing the rest of their catalog.

Sorry to have missed this brand at Windup Chicago. Enjoyable and informative review.
Thank you for watching!

That's a beautiful watch. Never heard of the brand,. definitely on my list now.
It’s one of those you really have to appreciate in person. Thanks for watching!

7-Windows is such a unique watch from Minase. If they could somehow pop in a spring drive in there, it’s game over 😅. Thanks so much for watching!
Striking design. Love it!
Quite unique right? Thanks for watching!
Good review. I've been following the brand for a while now. One thing you could have clarified is that the entire watch is finished by hand.
Thank you! Correct! Done the Japanese way. I love it. Appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to watch this video!

I think it’s only a matter of time before they create their own in house movement
What about the movement?
It’s rocking a Miyota
When a hand is on the qurter past you can still work out the time,it's exactly why watch companies do that style.
I appreciate this watch more after watching the review. Thank you!
It’s really a watch that is much appreciated in hand. Thanks for watching!
Chris 3 months ago: I hope one day Minase would send me a watch to review
Chris 3 months later: Him and a Minase watch on his hand
So happy they sent this over!
Love Love this watch
So good right?
@@ClickyBezel yes how cost this ?
More or less Cartier Santos price??

Minase is the town where it’s built. Very cold area
Well said!

yes, lovely watches, I have seen them here and there. a bit overpriced, but that's subjective :)
Maybe in the future they will offer their own caliber. Will take some time for development but who knows! Thanks for watching!
@@ClickyBezel thanks for the effort to put out quality content ;) appreciate it
Hello
Hi
Ehh! I stayed up too late
Luckily it’s a shorter video! Hope you enjoyed it!
