No 6 for me too. I'd have to say these are underpriced. The site says "Temporary suspension of orders" for every model so in practice they can't be bought at any price. Looks like one sold on WatchUSeek two years ago at $4.5k, another on chrono24 for $5.2k
I just received No. 6 & 7 after more than 3 years, first started getting my friend in Tokyo to contact Otsuka Lotec in Feb 2019, but they stopped taking any orders at that time, not until June 2020 got notification they started taking new orders again, placed orders for both watches and was delivered in November 2020. But due to Covid travel restrictions, etc. both watches have been at my friend's place in Tokyo since late 2020, until I finally received them from my friend last night and see them in real life for the first time, and I really like it!
I found this slightly unsettling - rarely in my life have I ever so suddenly and utterly desperately wanted a piece of mechanical unobtanium (potentially) as this... this is just WONDERFUL. That's something I would wear so often it'd probably fuse to my wrist. The boutique Japanese manufacturing makes it even more special, absolutely love it.
Sure its unique, but their way of obtaining it is just a spit on the face using raffle system, not just watch, even if you wanna watch some of your favorite band/singer live band in japan, you need to join the raffle for the ticket. And the raffle system is simply reject overseas enthusiast in a polite way, i have no idea why but most use this kind of system, even if not raffle, you need at least have a matching address there, from band ticket, custom earphone to watches! Its crazy
@@Izou96 wow so this is how they cope with intense demand? I didn't know this was a thing in Japan, must make buying bespoke items that much more difficult indeed. That's such a shame because this looked so fascinating, I do appreciate it as a way of coping with demand rather than simply increasing the price to astronomical levels.
It's a bit out of my price range but I've never, NEVER, seen a more interesting watch. As I watch collector I'm a bit odd in that I've never had a grail watch in mind but that changed after seeing this beautiful and unique watch. Nice review and absolutely stunning watch.
Thank you so much for creating content for these unknown watch makers. I'm so sick of hearing about Rolex and Omega that I immediately move on as soon as I realize that's what the video is about. My watch buying journey went from cheap watches I got because I liked the look of them, to hunting down my favorite RM, AP, Panerai and Hublot to now... at this point I have all of the high end pieces I wanted... now I'm after stuff that's different. And you are the only channel that caters to those of us who are bored with the known watch brands. Thank you!
You must try Indian watches in that case. They're fairly unknown to the western world. Check out the websites of brands like Titan (which is a luxury focused Indian brand), HMT (which is an initiative under the Government of India) you can call them the watches for the people, they're nice looking, cheap and pretty durable, their vintage models are hot with Indian watch collectors as of date and lastly Jaipur Watch Company (it is a fairly new designer watch brand) their watches pay an homage to the Indian culture, with watches having ancient Indian metal soldering techniques (called filigree) and having watches embedded with pre independent coins as dials, depicting the history of the country. Pretty unique imo.
At 03:37 That screw head looks very rough. at 03:09 The featured watch certainly looks the best. A nice open design and I like the resemblance to an analog instrument.
I love it. All of them especially the 7.5 and the prices are really good for such a handmade watch. Plus the whole "low-tech" thing is great, I've always worked in tech and that really appeals to me. I really hope we can get past misaligned screws too, that's hilarious to me for some reason. I blame Gerald Genta, its his fault really.
Tried to order a few watches from these guys ages ago (a few for a group of friends). Could. Not. Get. A. Response. At. All. Congrats. Glad to see a video with more shots of this watch.
Very unique. It's kinda what is missing in the industry now days. Seems very well thought out. I am impressed by this company. They are artisans for sure. A+++
The designers at Bell & Ross are kicking themselves for not coming up with this design. Great and unusual looking watch. My only reservation is finding someone to perform maintenance on such a unique piece.
Ok, this is so cool. Industrial and reasonable. Great video as always. All models under temporary suspension. Wonder what the wait time is? I have inquired.
I’ve been really impressed with the Silberstein and Halters collabs before, but this is the first one ordered. Makes me wish I owned them all. Looking forward to future collabs with other masters of watchmaking. PS-I know the regulator is LE core DNA, but I don’t think they necessarily need to base every collab on the regulator. Bringing the famous watchmaker’s style and substance to this price point matters more than using the regulator. But for this Chaykin collab, the regulator is perfect.
Reminds me of vintage Stewart Warner tachometers in 60's hot rods and or Isspro and Hewitt Pyrometers (exaust temp) gauges I ran in my Cummins powered trucks back in the 80's and 90's. Straight forward, precise information reading instruments with no bling like gauges started to get in the later years. I still think the good ole 2" diam. black face, chrome bezel Stewart Warner gauges look the best. And that watch fits description to a T. I like it. And to be turned loose in that shop with Lathe, mill and all that tooling i would feel like a kid in a candy store again. Not much i could not make or repair with that kind of shop. Love the watch. Brass gear racks visible below the hands and a Miyota 9015 powering it, NICE. I have several Vaer divers with Miyota 9039. Very nice finish on them and they run like a top. Your a lucky guy to have one with meteorite dial. That's a keeper!
This piece is super cool, innovative and very unique. I do wish the visibility was better - as in say blue hands against the dial rather than the same colour.
oh come on the price is cheap for the time to make this. i really love it thanks for this discovery. I have the most unique collection because it's only one of a kind pieces and it's hand made. nothing very expensive but i love my taste. even this watch is not one of a kind but i would like to add it to my collection one day.

I really love the idea 💡 of introducing collectors to a totally different brand and design.
Been looking at this for couple of months, love the no. 6. How is servicing the watch?
It's essentially a Miyota base movement, so probably not as challenging as it appears.
Nice, servicing we'll see, no idea yet.
As a collector of vintage Weston, Triplett, Phoastron etc panel meters, this watch makes me fizz.
