Your bed is just out of reach for the max comfort bonus. If you extended your loft by one more 2x2 tile and shift your bed towards the fireplace you will get a small overlap of comfort about where your carpet edge is. Also do you have a darkwood table? I didn't see one in range of the fireplace. Great episode, good strategy and play. You did much much better than I did on my first landing. Thanks for posting.
Table! That's definitely what I'm missing! And yeah the bed definitely needs to be a bit closer. It's an ongoing problem. I kinda want to redesign the house...

When you said this is gonna be dangerous before you got your gear back while in the Ashland’s. You made me remember a 90’s cartoon I use to watch called Darkwing Duck and his catch phrase was “Let’s get Dangerous” lol ty for the stroll down memory lane. Woohooo!!!

Must say I find it hilarious how you went out of your way to make the demolisher before you went, then promptly forgot to use it in the PERFECT situation....REPEATEDLY! 🤣
Nooooooo it's too slow! But I did think about it! I mostly made it so I could neglect it after giving it an awesome name. But also for fortresses! I remember trying it another time and it being underwhelming for Ashlands. But I plan on giving it another shot!

Perfect welcoming committee! Also, morgens are really useful in crazy times because of all the friendly fire they do. You can almost just run around and let it kill everything itself.
Archers and vultures (for how aggressive they are) are the most dangerous. Would go for mistwalker, though. Frostner for starred enemies, but not normal ones because it's bad at cleave.

Actually root harnesk is pretty good for ashlands. Makes the archers obsolete, and some of the warriors attacks deal pierce as well.
Just need some fire resist and you're gtg
Not just the archers, Morgan deals mainly pierce damage with a little blunt.
That ruins is a great FOB as off the beach, you can then build it towards the shore
