@@skauffman She's not Drag Race material, honestly. She's an amazing performer, but that's about it. Drag Race is not about having just one talent. You really need to deliver in so many categories. She's not a good actress, she's not fun, she's not a good designer. I honestly don't get why she decided to enter the competition, from what we saw, she knew she didn't have what it takes to be on the show -- let alone, win it.

Not every queen needs to be a drama queen, a bish, a loudmouth, a camera hog. Mhi'ya is truly a sweetheart and when the music starts, virtually no one can stop her. She earned her way to where she landed in this competition and I hope she's proud of herself. Of all the queens this season, she's the one I'd want to see at a show.
Exactly! And listening to Michelle, an “advocate of tolerance,” point out Mhi’ya’s soft spoken character as something negative or something to improve is very contradictory. Mhi’ya should be cherished, not changed.

Reality TV is about personalities hun and Mhiyas isn't made for it. There's being great at drag and great at drag race. Mhyia is amazing st dancing, choreo and writing verses but she isn't the best at drag race and that ain't a big deal
@@anitaheart Honestly it's a tired narrative that quiet = bad. She's just not a loud, in-your-face type person and that's totally fine. She didn't really "fit" the drag race mold, and I think that's what they want to see.

Yes, if you abuse your body at younger ages then it'll get fucked up by the time you're in your 30s but I do pole dance/fitness and calisthenics and know many people in their late 20s, 30s and 40s who do incredible things. Your body being "too old" to do amazing stuff is kind of a myth.
As a person who was an extremely shy child the worst thing you can say to a shy person is don't be shy or stop it. It only makes you more self conscious. Being shy is NOT a bad thing. Let her be, let her be her true self, a more reserved person and her confidence will come out.

Sasha Velour is an introvert and won so was willow… and they won Mhi’ya is great and so talented at performing dance and tricks but I don’t think drag race was for her it’s not for everyone.

I truly relate to Mhi’ya. Throughout high school I was silent because I was scared I’d say the wrong thing. Now at almost 30 I can still be so quiet unless I’m around my close friends and family. I literally will plan out what I say in my head because I’m terrified I will even say my own name wrong

Mhi´ya I love you, you were so fun on the show! Don't let anyone tell you any different despite you not being the loudest one, you made for amazing moments on this season and great tv from that talent show to the hurricane bit to your cher impression, your snatch game was funny, your girl group verse and dance was top tier, you rhyming equal with equal was hilarious, you and Sapphira being a design duo was such fun drama, you finally coming out of your shell to read the girls it was all so entertaining, and I really felt you were always listening to the judges and trying to apply yourself, that was so cool!
+ All of your lipsyncs were great, not just for the flips, you're a great perfomer. Never forget there were 7 girls that left before you who were terriffic but didn't make it as far as you did, even with the odds stacked against you with that designer bailing out on you, you still managed to look beautiful! Be proud darling

Fans will always find something to gripe about, especially with her track record versus their faves, but man, she is a powerful performer! I literally ran here after watching the episode, because I saw something in Michelle’s eyes she was rooting for her and has emboldened me to so even more!! As a fellow introvert, i understand this queen and I hope people can learn to understand her aswell because clearly she’s a star the way she commands a stage…her presence feels similar to the juxtaposition of Beyoncé’s presence I think it’s so dope!!!🎉🎉
Mhi'ya may be perceived as introverted but that is only in comparison to other queens in the season, most dancers I know have the same vibe and we saw that with the dancers in the makeover - in the werk room they were also more subdued than the queens but on the stage they electrify the viewer, so makes sense they conserve that energy. And a lot of the younger dancing queens like we saw Mirage now, previously Anetra, Cameron, Derek, etc. are also more subdued like Mi'ya, you can describe them as "shy and outgoing" as well. And legendary dancing queens like Sasha, Brooklyn and Kenedy are also not the loudest and don't take over the conversation but they are enveloped in an aura of grandeur from so many accolades and contributions to the community. Alyssa has more louder personality, yes, but mostly when she reacts to something and she is also subdued in her day to day life, in her studio, Laganja explained that at Madeline's show. So I don't see anything strange with Mi'ya, she looks very centered to me and with good self esteem. Honestly imo for a queen who was left with no ouchfits for the competition she didn't looked panicked, she played to her strengths, she has youthful energy, she uses her charm well. On a season with more focus on dancing, she easily could have been top 3.
