I'll be honest, all the way back when they announced the original road map for star wars shows coming out, I was more excited for the Obi -wan show and the other big shows... but Dam, Andor is easily some of the best star wars content ever made. It takes that serious, gritty tone with an original and rich story that so many people have wanted for the longest time.
Man, I wish we could get more than 2 seasons of Andor. This show set such a high bar for quality storytelling. I can only imagine what Obi Wan could've been if taken seriously.
It was originally planned to span four seasons and have a much bigger scale but got condensed, maybe cuz it didn't get as many views as hoped, maybe cuz they realized it was too ambitious...I forget.
This interviewer is great - lets people talk! These actors have done press junkets for the last year and this guy got insightful comments from each actor … not just repeating the same bits. Bravo.
We are truly living in the weirdest timeline, where a limited streaming series based on an original character from a spin-off movie based on Star Wars is miles better content than the mainline Star Wars sequels.
Still laughing my ass off about the Andor merchandise, which is a swim jersey saying ''Kino Loy Swim Club''. Not sure if that's too soon or exactly what we need....
eh...I dunno if that would be a good fit for _The Acolyte._ It was described by one of the actors as _Kill Bill_ meets _Frozen,_ if I remember correctly.
I have rewatched Andor countless times and it doesn’t get any less thrilling. It is a masterpiece of television, not only is it the best Star Wars content ever made it’s one of the greatest shows ever made across any genre. I truly believe that I will die on this hill.
My only issue with the show is it’s title. I don’t think the show should’ve been called “Andor”, because over half of the time we are focusing on other characters. Yes they all connect but not for Andor, but for that of the rebellion. Just a different title. Other than that it’s an excellent addition to the Star Wars universe.
Respectfully disagree. The show's entire purpose is to explain the events that pushed Cassian from a child on a toxic, abandoned planet to a somewhat dodgy louse barely scraping by on Ferrix to a rebel who will do whatever it takes to defeat the empire. Everything is in service to that narrative. (Or as Luthen might say, EVERYTHING)
@@TlaIock Im leaning more on a title such as "Birth of the Rebellion". But perhaps Season 2 will clarify focus better. I don't hate this show, it's definitely in the top tier when it comes to Star Wars content in the past few years, just derailed my attention temporarily.
Of all of them, Mon Mothma really was a rat-- she sacrificed sure, but for what, the new republic, republicanism? That sacrifice didn't really change her, how chandrila's obvious advanced status and resources factor into that is really key. Basically, I want to see that gilroy prepares the failure that Mon mothma becomes in season 2. I want to see that all of the real heads making the real sacrifices are aware of her character and intent, but can't shake her importance as figurehead and financier. Seriously great job with the interviews! You should pursue one of gilroy... esp after second season airs!

Yeah, everyone was like Andor? Who gives an F. But it was like a nice drama in Star Wars land.
Same. And look what happened to _Kenobi..._
I liked Kenobi a lot ngl but Andor is by far the best
Put Andor directly into my veins. No, I want to freebase Andor.
yo we're doing just that in the woods by the bleachers at 8, Zack says just make sure you bring some natty lights 4 the boyz
same
I am so looking forward to the 2nd season. I was done with Star Wars until Andor came out, but Gilroy, cast and crew made an absolute gem.
I need more andor cast interviews. They are all well spoken.

@@CornyBum It would've been too expensive, and they were afraid the actors would be too old by the end.
I want two amazing seasons and Rouge one as the finale for one amazing Star Wars saga

Amazing how Genevieve went from deleted scenes to now be all over Star Wars.
Man got flustered by Adria whispering in his ear lol, don’t blame him

That’s absolutely hilarious
love that swim jersey!
"Level 2 - Never Forget"
Shows great and cast is goated!
This show is already legendary, all it needs now is K2.
If acolyte has the tone of Andor….. that will be the greatest thing we’ve ever seen

His name is Diego not Gabriel
When did they say that? I’m too lazy to watch the whole thing
@@dibsdibs3495n the description they say his name his Gabriel Luna. Gabriel Luna played Ghost Rider in AoT and Tommy in The Last of Us HBO
@@thorkagemob1297 oh lmao they also said “Andry Serkis”
Heh, they not only typed it wrong once but twice.
I love you, Genevieve!

Andor was a hard watch for the first 4 episodes or so. But it did take off nicely.

Let’s hope the 2nd season is big enough for something to happen 💤 💤💤💤💤💤
Season 2 ?!? This show was soo boring. Just read the book. It was waaaay better than the show
When that guy hit that trooper with Marvaa’s brick, Andor elevated from amazing to legendary for me. 🧱
Wow bigger and riskier. Can't be thhat risky because we know they don't die til Rouge 1
