Still think the Rivera is my favorite car he done.
The 72 Riviera will always be my favorite from Gas Monkey, but that VW shorty was sick too. I don't remember ever seeing that on the show. They do fantastic work, so many extremely dope builds done there.
The F40 by far was the craziest thing hes ever done

Their builds are top notch. I saw one of arron Kaufmann builds when he worked there. His garage does great work.
The F40 wasnt all done by Gas monkey.. its redone several places in texas in a co-op between Richard and Dennis Collins

He's an entertainer not a car builder. Chip Foose is a builder of cars.
foose is a designer..not a builder..
He's both, he uses his hands to fabricate and install custom parts (the Imposter for example), not to hold a beer and watch.

chip foose is superb, but for me the best in the business is dave kindig, his cars are sheer art works, the detail he goes into, the subtle mods, this choice of colour, for me all the cars i watch on his show are stunning, and he is actually more of a real business man and not just a show created for tv, everytime you watch bitchin rides the garage is jam packed with cars, i have read there is a 2 years waiting list for him to do a build for you
But this particular video clip has nothing to do with Chip Foose and it doesn’t say Richard hand builds car’s. If that’s the case, Chip Foose is just a designer not a salesman or businessman, Richard is. LoL stop

The jeep sold for 1 million, and the dude that bought it, donated it back, so they ran it thru again for the remaining 300k. Kudos to the man that donated the million just to run it back thru.
Agreed... Rawlings acts primarily as a "dealer" and not a "builder" of street rods and customs!
Profit is not determined by the difference between the buying price and the selling price. Costs and overheads need to be accounted.

Correction, He made a lot of money from a T.V. deal, not from restoring old cars. Check out season 1, when he first got the T.V. deal. They were renting a shitty 2 car garage with no A.C. in Texas. I think Aaron may have been sleeping in the dumpster behind the building. That is what flipping old cars will really get you.

Gas Monkey is 1 of big money makers, but he & his wifes new company employs about 2500 nurses for home health care & they help fill in at hospitals & Dr's offices all over Texas.

Richard doesnt care about cars any more He is all about marketing his brand. For example he did that "win one of Richards cars" all you had to do was buy his t shirts or merch and for every dollar you get an entry....He runs the contest for about 4 months or so and has almost 900K subs If just half of them enter the contest at 30 dollars each that is 13.5 million dollars in sales right there and those are conservative numbers as i know I bought a hoodie a t shirt and a sticker for the first contest as they were having a 5 times the entries promotion so spent 100 bucks myself I think he prob gets closer to 20 mill per contest or maybe even doubles my first estimate. I mean yes he has the cost of the shirts and his employees he pays as well but he easily could pull down 10-12 mill after all is said and done. All he has into it is 100K for the winner in value....Thats quite the win...Say what you want about my numbers but i am being conservative...After the first contest was over he did something really strange...He ran another one right after it....thats like a once a year promo unless you are absolutely raking it in...I only spent 60 bucks on the second contest so lets say you add both of mine together thats 160 bucks lets say only a quarter of his subs enter buying what i bought for the 2 contests,....thats still 37 million dollars between the 2 before cost and over head and he only has 200k in it....Marketing Marketing Marketing

😆 He doesn't get $20 million per contest. He wouldn't have only $15 million if he did.
If he gets 10% of his subs to enter the competition, that's great.
Basically when the car and the sold products are taken into account he will be making $200k.

How could he do that on your figures? A good business man like Richard doest do anything like this unless he is hitting an absolute HOMERUN...and the money he has made this year hasnt been declared anyway and the money he made last year was just taxed when i made those comments...do you actually believe those net worth estimations? haha my financial guy who handles my portfolio hides a quarter of what i am actually worth in different accounts doing different things in index funds and investments and i am a nobody lol you dont think Richard doesnt have a dynamite financial guy and tax lawyer??

I believe the F40 didn't make that much profit for RR. Also I wouldn't say he built/rebuilt the KITT car. He found one already done and tidied it up. Also the bonus for that car was for the hoff to make an appearance, not Richard. I guess you got a couple of things right though.
That ferrari f40 was disowned by ferrari and is now the cheapest and will remain the cheapest f40 on the planet
I think it was also a total loss. Basically repairing it would have cost more than the car cost before the crash. Not much of a loss.
That car was totaled and they put it back together with gorilla glue.the title wasn't even clean.then he gets pissed the f40 didn't make any money.the car was wrecked it's worth parts.they keep calling him a builder did you ever see him with a tool in his hand? no tons of tools in his shop and he never used one.but he does have the softest hands for a auto mechanic slash builder.

i really dont remember the jeep for 1.3m, did it not sell for around 150k, then the person that bought gave it back to the auction to reauction for charity, doing roughly the same the 2nd time, nobody is going to pay 1.3m for a damm jeep!!!! ahahahhahaha

Frozen motors try vinager in cylinder ,to loosen the ringsup or use tranny fliud it will loosen those rings up then turn key over an blow out the gunk it should be free in most cases

@@markvincent5992 ive heard that before never used it yet,, I always use vinager first to break up rust or locked rings then start to flush an then tran fluid squirt then flush an hope for the best then oil change. It does work but never used Marvel's .
