This had a fun, retro Film Riot feel to it. It'd be awesome if you guys separated the sketches into their own videos or channel as they are strong on their own.
Damnit, everything in AE! And i already know the effects lol but the way you used them in such a specific way is SO cool and refreshing! Thank you for always keeping us inspired and sharp, really ❤
Wow! Love the setup. The Story Rocks. Great Payoff. The tutorial is amazing. I'm so blown away how well you can take film and animation styles in present day movies and illustrate them so well in After Effects. Thank you to everyone at Film Riot for posting this video.
CEO of a VFX & Animation studio here, we have been looking at this same approach and I’m actually blown away to see how great the output of this approach was. It was refreshing seeing conventional methods of VFX used rather than Ai - it really shows that you can get the same outcome, if not better, using your skills. Great work guys, I’ve been watching since 2010 and it’s always getting better.
If you don't know what Midjourney is it actually is an AI image generator so your comment isn't really accurate. Yes they didn't use any AI for the effect itself but they did use it for the backgrounds
You are the best VFX Artist In world Amazing🥰 Really I have No Words for this man This man make everything ultra Realastic and Amazing In My Opinion You are the Best VFX Artist Ever😍
Really I am a Big Fan of Sir Ryan He is Really Incredible Can you tell me please that how many years he learn VFX & From Where He learn VFX BTW Lots of Love from Pakistan
I made a version of this in Unreal and it's funny to see that I followed pretty much the same steps to get the final result. Such an inspiring visual style
I was not having a very good morning, and then I realized I haven't pulled up Film Riot in like 3 years. This video pulled up and I was like "wait this is just like old film riot!" I laughed and felt a deep sense of nostalgia. Thanks film riot for doing what you're doing!
Long Rant ahead: I haven't watched film riot in a while and seeing Ryan at 2:19 with a bit of white hair kinda gave me that push and will to keep on going. I remember watching the channel vigilantly (since the videos were so entertaining) when I was in VFX and working through the ranks during the past ?14? years. I'm now at a different place in my life now, just coasting through (of course still working and etc but after 20 years of experience, everything is just easy enough for u to put ur 1% to be on par with someone's 100% if you know what I mean) and kinda burnt out in general (life and etc). Seeing how he has aged kinda makes me feel like it'll be alright.
It will be alright. I understand what you mean though, gets tough to find the energy for effort some times. You can look on our channel and tell by the quality if we were burnt out or not at that time. I think it's a matter of finding a new inspiration somehow to be a new battery of sorts. But honestly, still figuring it out too. Probably always will be.
Just want to say I appreciate you tackling this challenge like an actual VFX artist instead of using AI built on the stolen work of thousands of artists. Seriously great work.
You guysss are the best!! Here's to over 6 years of knowing you on here. I'm grateful for everything y'all put out!! PS: Tell Andrew Kramer I said Hi , since he doesn't care about us no mo😑. Just kidding😅😅
Guys the timing, the cinematography, the theperformances all done within a perfectly shot edited sequence... This without a doubt had the actual Hollywood feel to it, the look and feel everybody on RUclips, hell the world of filmmakers try to aim for, you all just did it. Im ready for the FR Film/Shorts Channel whenever you all realize its time I'll be waiting to subscribe. Amazing work, congrats and Cheers!🎞📽
Man!! I love you guys! Was laughing all the way through this. Incredible knowledge, generosity, great vibes and consistency on your channel. Thank you as always!
I’m the motion graphics artist at Sony and I’m definitely using that CC Ball trick on the next Spider-Verse movie! Thanks guys! Love your work!
Well that's the coolest thing ever. Thanks so much!
