    Ducati have looked at Marquez’s data and have been blown away. “How is he, how does he…”. They could see the potential danger if he took that ability to a a different rival manufacturer. They panicked.

      Yet they STILL have to tremble losing Martin to Aprillia....Martin has ALL KINDS of powerful data in his HEAD ....Aprillia just waiting to exploit THAT...Martin if he has the right kind of brain will hop on the Aprillia and begin feeding their engineers what needs to change ....things Aprillia's current riders simply dont have the seat of the pants reference to know....shoot if Marc could suddenly swap back to Honda he could likely do a lot to improve the RC....if they listened to him etc. Anyway THAT is what Ducati has to sweat bullets over with Martin....Martin KNOWS a LOT about that RC24! In fact I would think Ducati will now be more and more careful with Martin who is now like an Aprilia intelligence agent RIGHT in their own paddock!! That has to be WEIRD! Maybe even to Martin's detriment! Which might be to Ducati's detriment if being more secretive actually starts keeping Martin OFF the podium? And will Ducati begin shifting support from Martin to Marquez? Did Martin possibly bite off his own nose to spite his face? I mean he HAS a GP24 and ostensibly even with Pramac would have had a GP25 along with Bagnia and Marquez anyway.......wierd stuff

    @3:45 Actually, it is not "the methods justify the ends", but the other way around. It's "the end justifies the means", or "methods" if you prefer. The idea is that if the end goal is that important, then any method of getting it is acceptable.

    • @dougiequick1
      @dougiequick1 5 месяцев назад

      Well anything short of downright dispicable and dirty which is never acceptable....playing your hand though? Marc betting with rightfully EARNED currency? Might be cuthroat business....but business is business. Unless Martin got a HUGE contract and money is a big goal for him? I dont think he made the best decision for his career...for gaining that #1 plate.... would have swallowed my pride and settled for guarantee SAME bike as Bagnaia and Marquez and then just keep pushing harder than ever. Getting the Aprillia up equal to the GP25 is REALLY going to take some doing...anything can happen though...hey who knows wholl even be left standing by end of 24

    Everywhere Marquez goes, he brings a toxic relationship, with the exception of his younger brother as teammate; which Alex naturally takes a backseat to Marc. One thing is for certain in '25; it will be interesting.

    • @dougiequick1
      @dougiequick1 5 месяцев назад

      That is total BULL! Marc had anything but toxic with Honda for YEARS ....whatever toxicity developed at Honda was likely within Honda's OWN politics as to who had say over what....Marc was the VICTIM there if you ask me. And I dont think Alex takes a "back seat" to his older brother unless it is team orders things for a specific race ... Someone is always a tad bit better rider I am pretty sure Alex will be first to admit he does not quite have Marc's drive to win even though on a given day there is very little to choose talent wise. If just half a dozen riders in the whole world quit tomorrow? Alex would be on the podium likely EVERY race! That is splitting already split hairs the way it is being one of the top ten or so riders in this WHOLE world of over 7 billion people! We like to say these nasty little things about these riders but DANG! If they are on the grid they are FASTER THAN HELL!! Just one or a few want it a itsy bitsy teensy bit more than the rest! (and THAT is ONLY when they actually get equal levels of machine and suppoer) Basically after that it is often just gambling a LOT to push the issue!! These are fricken gladiators literally playing with DEATH!

      @dougiequick1 wow dude! So much to unpack, I'll do my best. MM will never be a victim wherever he goes; he gets whatever he wants; just look at how he forced Ducati to welch on Jorge Martin's deal.
      Alex Marquez is in Moto GP for two reasons; one, he is Spanish and two, he is MM's brother. His talent is a far cry from MM's. Not even worth mentioning the two, talent wise, in the same breath.
      The worst player in the NBA is light years better than you or I will ever be at basketball, so it goes without saying Moto GP racers are the best on the world. Duh.
      Don't let your love of the Marquez family cloud your judgment.

    a lot of people ignored all the facts, that MM93 is on an older bike, on a slower, a bike that qualifies on the 4th row. and kept making it way to the podium at every race, every sprint. JM89 and PB63 have an unfair advantage riding the new bike. my point is Ducati made an Intelligent choice based on after all the variables were considered, I think MM93 received what he deserved.

  • @dougiequick1
    @dougiequick1 5 месяцев назад +1

    If Martin continues like he is Aprillia better hope he can keep it up in 2025 otherwise it will instantly say "Aprillia bikes not on par and cant beat Ducati" Because until a winning rider switches brands it is easy to presume the winning was mainly the rider. It also works the other way with the bikes like the moment Marquez switched to Ducati he rather proved his losing streak was his RC's fault NOT his. And if he dominates in 2025 then the presumption will be "wow the gp23 really was crap compared to the gp24 bikes of Martin and Peco

    I really think that this will make Bagnaia stronger. I think a lot of people don't really understand how mentally strong and competitive Pecco is.
    Márquez will fight for the win in many races, and Bagnaia will fight for the win everywhere. I bet on that, as much as on Pedro Acosta to either win the championship or finishing 2nd.
