FIRST - I really LOVE YING KONG SHI, he's my favorite character in this long series.
SECOND - I believe that if Lan Shang wasn't TOO ANNOYING and TOO INFATUATED with Ka Suo she would've realized that Ying Kong Shi was sincere and cared for her. (There were times when he actually ACTUALLY would smiles around her.) This girl went from immature, to being a whole hearted person, to being a victim then finally becoming mature in the end. She went through so many sh!tty things but became a lady with responsibility in the end, and that was what made me like her.
THIRD - This drama was so beautiful, beautiful clothings, great actors, reminds me of LOTR (same clothes designer)...You guys must check it out!
FOUR; I'm planning on doing two more vids for (Ying Kong Shi/Ka Suo) and (Ying Kong Shi/Yan Da) and also feel free to let me know if you guys REALLY want me to vid others couple from this show, if I get enough of request I wouldn't mind vidding because this drama has so many beautiful lovelines!

Can't say that. Bcz before this and other videos there was another video which was in hindi song(its deleted bcz I also can't find it) . All the videos so far are inspired from that video actually( I mean they look alike with some difference).

I have to say this: no matter how the show portrayed the characters I think they had great potential to became a strong couple. I would have made Lan Shang from this spoiled and childish princess change to a mature and clever queen. Regardless of my wishes, I really think that Ying Kong Shi really loved her in a hidden place of his heart. Every time I watched their interactions I felt that he really was in love with her.
In my opinion, Shi loves no girls, he loves his bro, though in the Ice Fantasy Destiny, he admits that he likes Yanda. 😀
Lol, how he loved her when in 2nd season he was again using her to get his way. She never did anything for him. He tolerated her only because she was Ka Suo's close friend. If not for that he would probably tear her apart like he did in the book. If he loved any woman it was only Yan Da. He didn't want her to be involved in his matters so she wouldn't get hurt. And he genuinly cared about her. His actions towards her didn't had anything to do with his brother and were honest. He treated Lan Shang like a tool to give his brother freedom.

Why do I think this two would be a better match than Yan Da and him? I know Ying Kong Shi said he loved Yan Da in S2, but I still have my reasons to think that Lan Shang would be a better match for him.
Reason number 1. Lan Shang makes him more human. We all know that Ying Kong Shi wants to do everything for his brother and sometimes forgets about others' feelings. Even though he always tries to do the right thing, he mess up things, but he always regreted to hurt Lan Shang, even if it wasn't on purpose. When he talked about marring her, she slapped him, because he knew about her feelings for Ka Suo and in her eyes Ying Kong Shi didn't make anything to prove that he loved or even liked her. She slapped him to show him that marrige should be out of love and not politics and he understood that later and promised he would try to love her if he had to marry her. In my eyes she's not exactly completely rejecting the marrige with him, she's rejecting the fact that he just wants to marry her for other reasons that are not love. So she reminds him, how human emotions work and helps him understand them.
Reason number 2. They can goof around and have a great time just by being themselves together. One of the things that caught my attention is the fact that Ying Kong Shi doesn't smile very often, but most of the time he's either laughing or smiling around Lan Shang. This reason could be related to the other; she makes him more human. They're also very playful with each other and enjoy their time together. It's like he can relax with her. That happened since day one.
Reason number 3. A lot of people think that Ying Kong Shi feels guilty and that's why he cares about Lan Shang and tries to "make it up to her". I think that's not true, he said once he admires her for her spirit of sacrificing for his brother Ka Suo, when she sang a song to make Ka Suo win to be chosen as king knowing that she would never sing again. I also think he didn't just want to "make it up to her" because he felt guilty, instead I think he truly deeply cared for her and couldn't stand the fact that he hurt her, in my opinion he didn't care for her because he felt guilty, instead he felt guilty, because he cared for her very much. So, to sumerize this reason, he cares for her for who she truly is and admires her very much.
Reason number 4. He actually doesn't think that marring her would be something he would reject. Even though he's not very into "romantic feelings" with anyone, he was willing to marry her and he even thought he could someday love her. He even tried to win her heart over, when he didn't need to do that, knowing she would have to marry the Ice King. It was clear he didn't want to force her to marry him, so he tried to make his best so she would be happy by his side.
Reason number 5. They share similar values and objectives. They both think that doing the right thing is important and that they have to protect the people they care about (Ka Suo). That's the problem I have with Yan Da and him. When Yan Da does the right thing, she doesn't do it because she thinks it's right, she does it because of 'love' or what she wants to call it. She never thinks about the damage her actions could cause to others, except for Ying Kong Shi. I'm not saying that Yan Da is a bad character, in fact I love her, but I think she should learn to love herself first. What I'm trying to say with this is that Yan Da and Ying Kong Shi would never find a way to be on the same page and remind together, because they always want to follow opposite paths. It's sad, but in real life for a long term relationship that would never work. I'm not trying to send hate to that ship, I actually liked them and enjoy them and if they've changed in a different way I might have thought they could've work out, but not as how they were.
Reason number 6. He reminds her to be more realistic. We all know how Lan Shang can be very hopefull sometimes even to things that are obviously not gonna happen (like her having a crush on Ka Suo and not giving up even after being rejected several times), but Ying Kong Shi knows how to keep her feet on the ground by telling her the truth about reality.
Reason number 7. Just like he keeps her feet on the ground, she brings joy and fun to him. We can see that he enjoys watching Lan Shang just being her: joyful, happy and a dreamer, somethimes he even lets himself share that joy with her, even though he's more like a quiet person.
These are just the most important reasons. Don't hate me though, it's just my opinion. I think they had an amazing potential that was not explored. In fact if Yan Da was handled in a different way as a character I probably would've ship her more with Ying Kong Shi. In my opinion, it was a pity that Yan Da's good side was just based on her love for Ying Kong Shi, instead of make her a good person, because it was part of who she was and making her do the right thing because she wanted to instead of doing it for just a man. Another wasted potential there, from my point of view.

You forget that Shi said himself he would never want to marry Lan Shang if it wasn't because of his brother or the tear drop charm.
He also said that he felt no guilt of what he did to her, he was just scared Ka Suo will be dissapointed in his actions. He admired Lan Shang just because she shown care for his brother. Something he was able to relate to and understand. But it was just because of his feelings for Ka Suo. When Lan Shang refused marrying him again he had that smirk on his face showing that he has absolutely no respect for her. She just annoyed him at this point because she was an obstacle to his goals. Shi is a good person by heart so he of course didn't want an innocent girl get hurt because of him. So doing those things wasn't easy for him. She was also his cousin and Ka Suo's close friend. That was why he tolerated her to a certain point. When he tried to get close to her, it was because he had his own interest in it and that wasn't honest. Only around Yan Da he shown honest feelings that weren't connected to his brother. He noticed how similar they were and shown understanding. He smiled around and liked to tease her as well. And that wasn't fake. Funny you say Yan Da's character is only centered around a man, when it's exactly who Lan Shang is. She only cares about her love for Ka Suo, never wants to learn magic and just cares about her own beauty in free time. Yan Da trains hard to become a strong queen for her nation. She was never surrounded with love like Lan Shang was and no one gave her a word of praise.
Both Shi and Yan Da are similar with their goals and if not for Yan Da Shi would kill everyone around when he was Li Tian Jin. She was his best friend when he needed it the most. Lan Shang never cared about him. I don't know how someone can write so forcefully delusional. I get you want to live in some dream world because you like this pairing but Shi and Lan Shang are horrible together. They have no care for each other whatsoever.

And not waiting to marry her because he didn't like her was just one of the many possibilities. Maybe he didn't want to marry her, because he didn't want to force her to marry someone she didn't love. Besides, you say that Shi just cared for her because of Ka Suo, but before he even started planning anything for his brother he helped Lan Shang when she was poisoned and he even protected her from Ya Da. It's funny how he lets Ya Da hurt him, but would fight her for Lan Shang. When I said that Ya Da's story is around a man, what I meant is that after she fell for Shi, every right decision she made was because of him. She doesn't care about 'doing things the right way'; have you ever seen her helping inocent people (appart from Shi), because she felt guilty and had strong morals? When she did something right, it was because of "her love for Shi". Lan Shang might have been obssesed with Ka Suo, but I'm not judging the characters as how they started, I'm foucusing on how they ended. And Lan Shang learned to let that go and she became more mature, while Ya Da started not caring for others but Shi and ended up the same way. I would've liked to see her fight her dad because she felt pain while watching others suffer, I would've like to see her development of feelings and sympathy for others by herself, without having to do it for Shi. I wanted to think all the time that she was right for Shi, that they could have a future together, but it's just... they never share values or objectives. I'm not saying they wouldn't fit together, but they would never work out unless Ya Da changes her values and starts to have morals. And I was waiting for that, but it never happened. When he said he admire Lan Shang, it's true it was because she sacrifice herself for Ka Suo, but he didn't clearfy that it was because of his brother and besides what would be the problem with him admiring her because he relates to her? That only means he's able to understand her, which is very important in a relationship. You say that when Lan Shang was hurt he just cared for his brother Ka Suo. Well, like I've said, before he even started his plan he already showed care for her and it's true he didn't mention his fear for Lan Shang being hurt, but when he knew that the Fire prince hurt her, Shi even wanted to kill him. Like, how that is related to Ka Suo? When Lan Shang tried to kill herself, Shi was the only one that inmediately jump into the water to save her. He felt so bad at what he did that he even told her he would try to love her, which I think it was because he wanted her to be happy again. Do you still think he doesn't care?
And plus I'm not even saying that they're in love or that they love each other in a romantic way. I'm saying they would be a better match if they were actually given a real chance. You can take it however you want. I know he said to Ya Da that he loves her. But I'm talking about what I think it would work out in the long run, taking the characters as how they ended. And besides, it's just my opinion, you don't need to be offended by it; I'm not trying to make you agree with me, I just invite you to read my point of view if you want. 😉👍
@@eli243lg4 That's not just my point of view, it was clearly stated in the drama. Shi is good at heart so of course he would protect someone in danger. He protected Yan Da from Lan Shang as well. His care for Yan Da is deeper cause after they part he wasn't able to sacrifice her or use her. When with Lan Shang he is able to do it. And Yan Da developed a lot as a character. She had Peng Peng her animal bird friend (or whatever it was) that she loved and cared about. She loved her family despite their unfair treatment towards her. And she stood against them many times. She stood up for Ka Suo's siblings when Flame wanted to kill them. She asked Flame to leave Lan Shang alone. She helped Ka Suo at Sacred Snow Mountain and saved Lan Shangs and Li Luos lives at the end. What do you expect of her to fight her father and get killed like she did at the end? She's not stupid. In second season Yan Hzu said Yan Da is just her good part, so how can you say she is a bad person? Yan Da was ready to sacrifice her life for the fire tribe when she called for ancestors in lamps. She was raised to be cruel and unemotional but despite it she grew up to be otherwise.
Shi said he would NEVER want to marry Lan Shang. Means no matter what her feelings would be he still wouldn't want to. For many reasons, not only that she didn't want him but that he didn't want her as well.
And I don't know how Lan Shang developed in your eyes, after she died she was still the same. It was Li Luo in her body that seemed more mature. Li Luo was of course more mature from the beginning.
I remind how Lan Shang wanted to kill Shi with no second thought. Despite him telling her he didn't rape her, despite him wanting to make it right for her. And despite her big love for Ka Suo. She haven't thought how will he feel when she kills his beloved brother. Then her only way out was suicide that didn't solved anything. Only mermaid tribe was left without a successor.

I think Shi just regretted having indirectly driven Lan Shang to suffering and suicide. Lan Shang's pain would make Ka Suo feel guilty, therefore Shi blamed himself for having failed to protect her from Shuo Gang.
If the drama version hadn't had Yan Da (like book version), I would totally ship Ying Kong Shi x Lan Shang. It would be a great pairing.

He seeked her out online probably because she was close to his brother and he couldn't show himself in front of him so he wanted to know what's going on with him through Lan Shang's reincarnation. After he got the information from her, he usually dissapeared for a long time and she didn't even knew where he is. In 1st season he just used and betrayed Lan Shang and then felt guilty afterwards, Yan Da even fueled the guilt in him, so he wanted to make it up to her but she tried killing him in revenge anyways. She never wanted him and he didn't want her either, he just sacrificed own happiness for brother. Lan Shang always suspects Ying Kong Shi, judges and disrespects him, vice versa. Shi confessed his love for Yan Da at the end of 2nd season, that's destiny xD

Lan Shan doesn’t end up marrying neither Ying Kong Shi nor Ka Suo . Ying Kong Shi was supposed to be with Yan Da but Yan Da unfortunately passed on due to saving Ying Kong Shi from a formidable spell cast by Yan Da’s father ; Huo Yi , though she returned 1 million years into the future to supposedly “save” Yong Kong Shi *[ she didn’t reincarnate , more of a resurrect ]* .
Ka Suo was supposed to marry Li Luo but she unfortunately got into an accident , so she swap bodies with Lan Shan , and after she switch bodies with Lan Shan again , her human body couldn’t take it so she fell into a coma , which led to Ka Suo embarking on the 1000 years flower journey , whether she woke up , is still unknown but she most probably did , which the 2nd/3rd season shows that they all reincarnated [ except for Yan Da ]
Yan Da got ressurected in 2nd season by Ying Kong Shi. He used the power of the lotus when he found her soul at mars. He took her with him to earth so she had a chance of living there. But she didn't want to just live for herself, she wanted to live for him because he saved her. Shi doesn't want her get in trouble or hurt because of him, so he acts cold towards her again. Trying to push her away like he usually does. But that doesn't stop Yan Da. Ying Kong Shi doesn't know that he revived Yan Hzu with her. Yan Hzu probably used Yan Da as a bait to get free from the endless space.

No one is really related here but it doesn't matter because Shi loves Yan Da. In 2nd season he is using Lan Shang reincarnation again to separate Li Luo and his brother. When Yan Da wants to help he tells her to stay out of it, because he doesn't want her to get hurt. He keeps comforting her so she wouldn't get worried about him. You can tell who he really cares about even if he didn't said he loved her at the end.

Lang Shan always had her heart only for Ka Suo..It was an onesided but really really faithful and true love. Man should be very lucky to have that kind of love even Ka Suo never accept it.One sided love always very powerful and immortal sometimes greater than love between actual couple.
Regarding Yin Kong Shi, he just always care only for his brother, it was Ka Suo,everything for Yin Kong Shi.He didn't even care about the girl who actually loved him,Yan Da, until their relationship sadly get into end,🙁He had so many things to do on behalf of his older brother, even at the death of the Yan Da he just mentioned her as his best friend,I actualy hoped that he will say her that he loves her but he never did it .I dont know wether Shi ever understood that Yan Da was in deeply love with him and ready to giveup everything for him..😢💖
And I don't know if you truly understand Shi's character. Because you clearly see through the show, in the way he looks at Yan Da and acts, that he loves her. He says 'most beautiful and best friend'. But people are just focused on the 'friend' word like it's something bad. Person you love is also your best friend. And he also says she's most beautiful, so she's more than that because he's attracted. Even in second season when he confesses his love for her, he still calls her his best friend. Because they could never act on their love for each other, they only know how to be friends. But love is clearly there from both sides.

She seems like a kind hearted person but sometimes she acts selfish. I don't know how could she agree to sleep with 'Ka Suo' when she knew he was in love with Li Luo, she tried to steal him once she only found a chance. That was a bitch move. The kind of woman that will steal your man once you only turn around xD When she realised it wasn't Ka Suo that she slept with, her face was priceless. I shouldn't have laugh but it was karma, I swear xD

I honestly believe that if Lan Shang was raised properly by her grandmother, she would’ve had the same personality as when Li Lou’s soul switched with hers (except without amnesia).
