This guy is so fascinating. Not what you expect to hear from a hunter. I could listen to him talk about other things all day, hunting part is probably good but i just haven't gotten there.

Amazing mind & love how analytical he is. Great app. Told my brother about it & he loves it. I’m getting it too. I would love a field tutorial using the app. That would be the greatest especially if Bill could be involved. Like a live broadcast.

That chat about a narcissist letting someone be a trigger man on his farm to harvest a nice buck sounds so familiar..Especially the part about self promotion and making theirself look generous.. What a great analogy... Was he trying to say something or is he just psychic?

I thought the same thing. When I heard about it my first thought was, "what's in it for him?"

Hey guys, love the podcast. Keep it up! I’m looking to get my first compound bow for whitetail hunting and I was wondering what broadhead you would recommend for a 29” draw shooting 50-55lbs?

I am very much not an expert but I had the same question this year when I decided on the sevr hybrid. I am 26-1/2 draw 67 lbs 423 grain arrow. Main thing is 248 fps from that setup. My bow shop suggested I should be good but close to the edge for mechanical. I used cheap as heck 15$ for 3 fixed blades with chisel tip last two years and they worked just fine. One with crossbow blew thru heart and opposite shoulder and stuck in a log 20 behind. Last year with same broadhead on my compound hit a little back but had good blood with bubbles the entire way. Pry only went 10 ft without blood but he ran 300 yards. I'm guessing I just hit one lung but that's why I switched to the sevr hybrid this year. Haven't got one yet so can't say how that will go yet. Long winded but I've been in your position so I wanted to give an honest feedback. All the best.

Lol yes it is, for size and maturity. Still a great place to hunt though!

South Florida is the hardest most brutal place to hunt white tails put some respect on Florida. The deer are definitely way fewer in between on the size and maturity scale but the landscape, same weather year round, snakes, gators and bugs is unlike anywhere else.

Hard to explain how much bugs are a factor here. Can’t sit still

@@85Bow yeah the bugs are what keep majority of people from hunting archery season down here it’s ridiculous in August/september. Even during winter they’re still out they never go away😂. When I travel up north to hunt out of state during winter there is not one bug in existence. Florida is also the only place you’ll get attacked by a gator walkin out to your stand dudes be having it easy up north and in the Midwest an Eastern states.
