We saw some chef-approved clogs when you were working on the power hacksaw! Very nice! If you cut some slots in your menu stand to match the spacing of the threaded holes in the end of the moveable jaw in your milling vise, you can drop the plastic over some screw heads and you won't have to hold it at all. I leave them just a little bit loose so the shield just drops on and pulls off easily. Nice video!
Thanks for the comment. Never think that someone is above your level! I am still an absolute beginner and learn things every time I'm in the workshop. Some people have had more time to learn more than others... that's all the difference is! The Chef
Hi Brian, Thanks for the comment. I don't know if the plans are available in pdf format... it seems unlikely. Contact the supplier at ejwinter.com.au for more details. The Chef
Clever idea, using a couple of rules, for thin parallels!
Thanks for the comment. Not really parallels, just thin supports. The better idea was the magnets to hold them in place!

What is that bloody noise in the background??
Unfortunately, my microphone picks up the motor noise of the lathe and mill.
