I never tire of Pavel's stories of the Lord's faithfulness to those who wait on Him and serve Him wholeheartedly. Glory to God! These shared experiences strenthen my faith. Pavel and Dana, thank you for being a blessing.
Prayer is not to manipulate God like touching the lamp allowed Aladdin to have the Geni at his will. Prayer places ourselves to accept God's will beacuse He knows what is best for us. Why? Because He created us and He has redeemed us. How do we know? reading the Bible and observing nature. There are only two ways. I accept to know Him or I don't. If I don't I'll continue hurting myself with sin if I surrender He will heal me from sin. He is not the bad guy who brings all the evil things instead Satan brings them and blames God.🤨
Prayed and my friends daughter still died. Prayed and 4 yo died of brain cancer. Prayed and many list their lives during covid while working as a hospice and ICU nurse

Some just live in their protected little world and refuse to understand that there is suffering all around us. They prefer the comfort of thinking they have control over it so they dont get scared.
No. You're correct in that it would be ridiculous if Pavel had claimed that he stopped the rain. But he didn't, you see. No; God stopped the rain. BIG difference. And anyway, you are not required to believe it. God works miracles every day, and we are free to ignore them or rationalize them away.
