Finally watching ucla because I was too sad to watch it lol. I think they were maybe trying to be too perfect or rushing after floor. While I'm sad they didn't advance, I think this will be a good learning lesson for everyone. I think this kind of needed to happen (kind of reminds me of ark last year) Do the same thing you do in the gym, mental toughness in high pressure environments and I think the most important thing, *routine construction*. New amazing recruits, elite gymnasts coming back and healthy gymnasts coming next year, I think it will be a better setting for the coaching staff and gymnasts to really put a consistent season together. The future for ucla is bright! 💙
It's so tough being a UCLA fan wow. Still a rebuilding year I guess. Is Chae eligible for another year? The senior class have a lot of routines that we'll miss in lineups. Jordan and Ana coming back next year will hopefully help us a little. There shouldn't be calls for changing coaching staff just yet though. It takes time to rebuild things. They get rid of coaches often in football EPL (for incorrect people: soccer), and it doesn't get teams anywhere. Patience is key.
yes chaecan go for a 5th year. yeah coaching change is crazy since it's only Janelle's 2nd year. Starting next year she'll be able to train her recruits and by their training videos, they'll be amazing! It will get better
They Robbed Chae on the floor she should have gotten a 10.0 absolutely zero mistakes. These judges are so biased, racist, prejudiced, and envious of the black athletes that it's disgusting.
Well first congratulations to all who continue on. Now my opinion UCLA ok you are good gymnast but I think the problem is way to much party with this team, constantly worried about how great there hair is done, makeup has to be perfect how good they look in there competition outfits just so many vids I see and just not enough thinking how important this is for your school and yourself. This is why you are going home and season over. Quit being pampered and start doing your gymnastics. Again your are all good better then most but my opinion not taken serious enough. Have a good time watching.
keep in mind two of their falls were freshman. competing at championships on podium is different than regular season not to mention all the nerves that go with it. these gymnasts all work so hard while going to school!
@@oliviagolden2476 I understand that I was speaking as the whole team they are just to into themselves party to much and should take this more serious. There are many other freshmen competing and are scoring very well.
Agreed - UCLA was one of the programs that got me interested in this sport, and to this day Vanessa Zamarripa remains my favorite college gymnast of all time. But when Miss Val left the program lost its way.
Agree. They spend a lot of time doing non-gymnastics dancing w BJ Das, and I understand it helps with floor for them, but it’s just always a party and I feel like they lacked focus this season.
The fact that Selena Harris's bars routine was so underscored when it was at least a 9.9 is crazy.
