Aww, so glad you are finding them helpful! What to say, before moving to Playa del Carmen I did spend a week in Merida. That`s about as long as I could last there - due to the torrid heat followed by torrential rains, and even more so due to the ridiculous C0vid restrictions they had at the time, which were worse than in Ontario (this was in Sept 2020; I sure hope things would`ve gotten better by now, at least when it comes to the restrictions.)

Hi there, there is in-person security at the entrance of Tohoku. You would advise security that you are expecting guests. From what I recall, security asks to see the ID of the guests before allowing them in.

Hi Diane and thank you for your interest. While I haven`t seen any houses recently being listed in Tohoku, I have seen similar older-style 3-bdrm Mexican homes in Playa Centro listed for around 300K USD. Btw, I plan to follow up with the builder of the newer-style condos in Tohoku to see what units they still have for sale if any.
