did you use the aluminum "pipe" that the Z Car Depot sells to take the place of the AFM? Curious what you used to fill that gap. Or maybe you just used some PVC pipe.
Hooligan Motorsport can you show me how you did that? I can’t get the tach to work and when I hook up all the wiring I have problems shutting the car off. I want to be sure I am connecting the right wires for the tach. Also, how did you keep the temp gauge working. I too am installing Godzilla Raceworks MS ECU. I was able to fire up the car this morning. It seems to be running smooth at idle on the base tune. I unfortunately don’t know enough about Tuner Studio to tune the car so I have to take it to someone. I sure could use any help you could give me to make sure this thing runs right since you just installed the same system.
In early 2018 I ended up selling it to a collision technician in Maryland. Before, once I got it running good I went in to get an alignment. The tech pointed out very serious frame damage on the front left corner of the body that looked to have been "repaired" with a harbor freight welder and JB weld. The cross member was also partially hanging off the frame. The cheapest quote I got to repair it was $2,290 and I paid $1,250 for the car. I did in fact sell it to fund my OG ZX, which has never had any sketchy/crackhead previous owners.
would it help if i changed my ecu/ecm to a turbo one once i put a turbocharger in my datsun like a cheaper megasqurit will that turbo ecu maybe have the parameters u were talking about ?
@@HooliganGarage-650 so im thinking of doing a the old turbo efi harness and the ecu from a 280zx and getting one of them shady turbo chargers i see on ebay will it all work u think haha? HONESTLY I just want to drive it to work no racing no going over 80 really i just want to be able to accel fast every now and then hear the turbo u get me?
@@fedguerra8046 EBay T3's will fit, but you will need to modify the exhaust system to match up with the exhaust side as they use a different bolt pattern.
@@HooliganGarage-650 This follow up question should answer my question; did the instructions say the injector harness needed to be plugged in to specific injectors, or could you plug them in to any injector? If the former, that would sound like multipoint. If the latter, that sounds like batch.
I'm afraid im not on youtube enough to give continuous mechanical advice, but I suggest you join 280ZX Drivers on Facebook, as there's TONS of info on repairing 280ZX's there, and many who can help right away.

Did you hook up the stock wiring and the MS wiring to the coil? I’m just wondering how you keep the tachometer working.
Yes I have both hooked up, though 2 of the 3 stock wires are no longer used due to the distributor swap.

What ever happened to the turbo zx btw? Just on the back burner for now or was it sold to fund the og zx?

Yeah if you turbo swap your car, you should run EFI from a 280ZX turbo if you don't go with a standalone system.

Does this change the fuel system to multipoint fuel injection or is the batch injection retained?
I'd imagine multipoint.
