Gearing up to open the main stage at SONISPHERE festival 2014 at Knebworth House (headlined by The Prodigy, Iron Maiden & Metallica), London metallers THE DEFILED have released the video for their latest single 'Infected'.
Featuring stunning 3D animation from the London based Smoke And Guns Productions, the video tells a twisted tale of epidemic infection, while the band rock out in a fire and stripper filled morgue.
"We've done performance videos, we've tried our hand at acting, and our last video did not even have us in it, so we wanted to try something different this time" says frontman Stitch D. "With animation, anything is possible -- if we want a helicopter, no problem, if we want a massive machine gun mounted on a jeep, ditto. It might be nice to have real strippers and pyro but for now this does the job nicely."
"Fuck yeah!" echoes The AvD. "Suicide, murder, disease, fire, helicopters, machine guns, strippers and lego -- this has got it all."
The video is also the last to feature guitarist Aaron Curse, who, as the clip shows, is sadly no longer of this world. The Avd says:
"We are sad to see him go, but you can't fuck with fate. He is probably down there in hell right now, creeping out Satan and his minions. He will be missed."

vmiki888 The Lego Movie is at least reallistic, but can't be done in stop motion due to it being too hard to animate everything.

I'm skeptical to this. I know that when Metal Hammer released the video on their Facebook page they said they were just joking at continuing as a four-piece, plus there hasn't been any official announcements. So until the band release a statement or a video or anything saying that it is true, then I'm not buying into it.

Apparently he died, and they explained it in this video. They didn't explain it very well then, cos that means curse must've died in an explosion

No, he didn't die, he is all good and well (Although whoever wrote the 'sadly no longer of this world' thing worded it VERY badly)- If you want proof, go check out his facebook! They gave a little tribute to him leaving in the video, and wherever it says 'he died' its isn't referring to real life, just the video itself. I had to go scour the Defiled'd pages to make sure, but yes, he is fine.

What is the story of this video?
Aaron curse is dead. It was his stage name for the defiled and when he left, his alter ego died. The death of Curse was the death of the on-stage personality rather then the death of the person
