I started out terribly. Entered at the perfect time in November and proceeded to try and short my positions and got wrecked. Looking back and seeing coins that did a 20 to 50x since then has me kicking myself. Lesson learnt and holding a new portfolio that I hope makes up for my losses. But I feel as though I messed up a really good opportunity to make some good money for the first time in my life. Fingers crossed that patience pays off this time.

Love this guy. Ive seen a lot of different crypto youtubers amd only a few are worth a damn. Whether or not this man is right or wrong doesnt matter, the fact he takes time to explain everything, like a dominance chart is amazing. For anyone that is new finding someone to teach you this info is rough, amd he does it just about every episode. Where as others will say the words "btc dominance" or "tether dominance" but not explain the context surrounding it or what it means. And trading/crypto is full of these phrases. It is like another langauge.This man is good.
I'm not panicking, I am a humble sheep, keeping an eye out for the farmer, and buying pink lady apples because there are cheap just now.

I can still remember the feeling of my heart in my stomach when we dipped last cycle, but I came in near the top so, there was valid uncertainty. Now, we’re still early, and the dip will recover. The newbies don’t realize they are here early enough to enjoy the euphoric phase of this bull run. No matter what happens geopolitically, crypto will recover!

It’s so difficult,you say “when markets are down you buy”. But are they down S&P 500 and NASDAQ has rolled over finally. It’s been a long time coming. This probably signals a drop of minimum 10/20% and possibly more. ETFs and all that, BTC is now heavily correlated to them. No experienced crypto investor is concerned about this small drop but the fear of it turning into 60/70% in alts makes it very dangerous to buy now. In short short,this dip so far could be the beginning and who wants to wait for 100% pump just to get even.
Sharing my opinion. I’m buying now because retail traders all panicking. Usually means we go up from here. If you disagree that’s also fine :)

@@TheHouseOfCrypto no mate, I don’t necessarily disagree. More to the point, it’s a hard one. I was late to the party and so I feel the need slightly to gamble on it going down, knowing I might have to get in quick with buy orders being set around 5% higher than the current price at that time
Im quite a low value investor, but very calm about the whole thing, dips n all. What I struggle with it knowing when to know the right point in a dip to buy, then when to sell, meaning I have never sold anything. When would you say is best time to start buying afyer the halving tomo or is it too late by then?

If i was a BTC Whale, which I'm not, I'd be doing what other BTC Whales are doing and that is, sell some big chunks of BTC for huge profit. This in turn drops the price of BTC which in turn drops the price of Altcoins at a higher rate. Then I swoop in and gorge myself on Altcoins. It's market manipulation, but understanding this, makes you a better investor.
