I was homeless for a time in Los Angeles. There just aren't enough homes nor enough jobs. That's the result of politicians making it harder for ordinary people to build new homes when there's growing demand. All of the tents under the freeway and needles along the sidewalk, the desperation, and millions who are trapped on welfare or trapped in poverty are due to policies set by yesteryear's Democrat politicians on purpose, maintained intentionally to give them political advantage in November.

Maybe he should tell his good buddies in midwest states to stop busing their homeless problem to California... 👎

In my experience, the bulk of the home shortage in California was due to there not being enough jobs, politicians not allowing builders to keep up with demand, out of control taxes, and limitless influx of illegals. California is run by Democrats, of course.

@@maxabramson4781 @BigBoomer does make a good point that needs to be discussed -- what % of the California homeless are from out of state (regardless of how they got there)? Are people who need intervention (emergency housing/funds, job training, veterans benefits assistance, mental or substance abuse treatment) leaving their home states in order to move to more "homeless tolerant" or moderate weather states ? If homeless people are more aggressively assisted or held accountable to where and how they live, will this reduce the out of state migration and help more locals improve their lives?
