Great video, guys. I like how now that you guys are doing videos without Jazza (though I do love him lol) you're getting much more confident in front of the camera and "presenting" and stuff. You guys have such a chill but enjoyable energy. The art, of course, it awesome. I like how different they are from what we most likely associate with the content we know them from, such interesting takes and brilliant end results!
We're glad you enjoyed the video! Really excited to find our feet as content creators. we appreciate the kind words :) really keen for more challenges!
I used to play a game where everyone drew a head, folded the page to hide it with only the neck showing, swapped with someone, drew a body attached to the neck, folded and swapped again, drew the legs, folded and swapped and finally the feet. We used to get some very groovy creatures at the end of it. You should try it using Photoshop, it would be fun!
We used to do this too. And there is also a version done in writing with prompts such as ‘ she said to him’ and ‘ wearing’. As long as everyone uses the same prompts this can be abused/adapted in anyway you like to generate a short story.
I know it's called "A beautiful corpse" (weird name!) when done in text, don't know what it's called in art form though? 🤔 Would def be a fun challenge for the digital art team!
I loved seeing your interpretations of the prompts. One thing I will point out with what you were saying about cyclopes. Cyclops literally means "Round Eye" and they were split about 50/50 between those with one or three eyes, but all of them had a single spherical eye in the center of their forehead. It's just that the most famous, or infamous, of the cyclopes, Polyphemus, was one of the one-eyed cyclopes that lead to them being associated with just one eye.
Rangers Apprentice was my entire childhood. I have almost all the books and have started listening to the audiobooks again. Super nostalgic. I’m glad someone else recognized them! - Alysha
It is so amazing how each person has their own ideas of what character/monster prompts are, just based on the descriptions. I watched Jazza do these prompts, and I think they are all awesome! I am not into horror, so I have not actually read IT, nor watched the movie, but it is awesome what we think of in our own heads.
Morgan's Striga was hands down, the best one. I liked Alysha's Yowie the best. We you manage to make a monster that you also want to like, shove under your bed to keep other monsters away... it's kinda of perfect. Reminded me of the Yeti stuffie in the Sims 4 in the best way possible.
Love the video, and the artworks! One viewer note (I also noticed this in the last video as well): the cuts every second or so when the artists are on camera are distracting and make the video feel jumpy and hard to watch. However, that does not take away from the art, and I love seeing the different styles and techniques of each person!
The talent here is just amazing, love that you guys added the mural as your banner! It would be cool to see a timer on screen when you do the timelapse drawings to see how long these take.
I love prompt challenges! It is so fun seeing what you picture. You each see things in very different ways and yet your creatures often compliment each other in some way. I can't wait to see what you do next! 😄❤ I would love to have the prompts on the screen, either while you are drawing or just at the final shot, so I can see how each individual prompt was used.
To Morgan: about that striga. Seems, like you went for the series route, unintentionally, since you gave pricess Adda that mop of red hair. The translation I read a few years ago (it wasn't English), only says she is "shaped like a barrel. And that "she is quicker and more agile, than she looks". Many interpret this, as a 6 ft tall strongman body type, but agile as a cat. But that can't be further from the truth if you know, she grew into this, in a sarcophagus since her birth. Even Geralt jokes about her how much easier it should it be to catch her if she is well fed. So if anything, shaped like a barrel, or chest, like a barrel just means, she is not as chesty as a 14 yo teen should be, because... well... dead and cursed. And I guess because she was cursed before birth, she would retain that baby belly too... adding to the barrel shape. To be true, the only difference I imagined her, was the hair, because in the version I read it was not described as a "mop" of hair, but as unkempt and overgrown and when Geralt casts the Aard to slow her down, her hair was flowing as if it was blown by wind, so I imagined longer and more. The torn sack looking clothing was a nice unintentional touch. Since she was a royal baby, when she was put to her not so eternal rest, she could've had a good amount of baby wraps around her. Granted when she turns back she is described without any clothing, but I never really understood that. However one thing is true. In any media, Geralt is outclassed against this beast.
Aha I see someone else's as obsessed as I am with the whole presentation being true to the intent and the details in general and for each character. I love the analysis but to other people it might seem a little bit on the Spectrum.😂❤
What I love the most is that just like people will imagine the characters differently when reading the same story or book, you both (and jazza too) have a very different style and unique vision of what the character is!!
I love all of these designs! I think Alysha's design for Pennywise is so much creepier than the movie versions. I'm trying to imagine IT walking in those clown shoes..... And Morgan's Striga is amazing, creepy as heck! Those gangly arms and big claws make me think that it would creep on it's fingers, using it's claws to worm through tight spaces. Love the creations, so much skill to create accurately from these prompts.
I watched Jazza do all of these and yet still for the life of me couldn't remember what any of the prompt characters were watching this 😅. Fantastic work as always you two!
Hey Jazza and team! An idea for a spin-off of this concept that I had is to take card names from TCGs (like Flesh and Blood, Magic, or yu-gi-oh) and make your version of what that card would look like but without seeing the original art. You could maybe see the effect as well, to better narrow in the art. It would also be a cool opportunity to shoutout some of the artists for those games because there's some phenomenal work out there. Keep up the good work on this channel!
Hearing the Kalkara mentioned made me so happy, haven't encountered much Rangers apprentice material on the internet if I'm not specifically looking for it! I love those books!
I just have to point it out because I find it funny - the prompt (and Rob) were very specific about the feet being on backwards, but the picture that pops up has its feet on the normal way 😂
This kind of reminds me of the Drawfee Show and I love it! Excited to watch as this grows and then be able to see a "1 year progress" from the artists. What they're doing today, then redo it next year and see how their skills improve.
You should put a deesser on your vocals on her Mic at least they're really harsh sounding vocals Or just adjust the gain And may be EQ some of the highs out But whatever you do do I had to turn down my phone cuz it sounds so crunchy high-pitched
It’s so funny that without context, The Strigas description is confusing. I’m a huge Witcher fan so I loved Morgan’s interpretation. I feel like they could’ve given him the detail that it’s a cursed girl but maybe that would’ve given it away too much
It's ok, I don't get offended when people think Cyclops's are less intelligent. Then again I'm only half cyclops on my mother's side. My dad had three eyes so most people can't tell I'm half cyclops as I've got two eyes.
the insert art people should do a secret santa type thing where everyone draws a name out of a hat and whoever everyone gets designs a tattoo for who they got
I said the same thing on Jazza's vid: Tigers have stripes. It's like the one thing that literally everyone knows about them. How do people keep messing up that bit?
Mythological monsters don't work as well because there are a lot more descriptions and depictions of them than a monster originating in a work of fiction with a single author. Morgan's oni turned out really well, but they're almost impossible to guess.

damn, I had no idea! cheers for the fun fact :)
I love Morgan's art, he seems very very talented.
agreed, I wanted to write exactly the same :D
He really nails the horror theme. Just amazing drawings!
Aww damn, thank you! yawl made my week with your kind words :) -M
Oh my god, I cannot overstate how much I LOVE the design you came up with for the Striga.
Same!!! That one's so fucking cool!
same! I want her on a t-shirt or something!
Yea, I am gonna steal it for our DnD campaign, group will meet some devils and such soon, this one will be delight to play :D
damn! I'm stoked y'all like here so much 🥲-M
"Krusty the Clown from hell " is about the best description of Pennywise I've ever heard.
Morgan's striga design is so good! And I want a big hug from Alisha's Bigfoot or some life advice, he looks like he could be a shaman
I want a Yowie shaman in my life! -M
I love the Rangers Apprentice books Alysha talked about. The monster is called Kalkara and your drawing indeed reminded me of them.
Rangers Apprentice was my entire childhood. I have almost all the books and have started listening to the audiobooks again. Super nostalgic. I’m glad someone else recognized them! - Alysha
very underrated series
If someone is vaguely familiar with the mythological oni, "tiger loincloth" is a clear giveaway. Great art though!
I loved how relaxed you guys are becoming.
me too! hehe -M

The drawings were great :)
oh snap! sorry Jazza ;P We had so much fun! Really keen to find our feet content creators -M
@@insertartshow lol.... yes you guys were fun :)
insert art vids are very motivating. i wanna draw so muchhhhh
I literally got none of the prompts. Love watching you guys interpret them in your own way. Great job both of you 👍
Alysha is so talented and beautiful and soft spoken
I love how all the comments in your videos are positive. Hope it stays like this forever.
Morgan's last piece. Damnnn... Got it better than the games even

Was also going to say this! I’d rather see the longer pauses. I still love the content though!
@@benjaminjimenez9616 exactly! The content is 10/10!
I love the long armed red-haired monster girl concept, it's awesome and feels like it could be a cool character in a series
So glad you liked the piece thank you for the kind words :)
This was fun! Love seeing your reactions to each other’s drawings, including Jazza's. 😊
Glad you enjoyed! we are keen to do more of these!

Aww thank you very much! that's great to read you're digging the mural!
also... Good idea!
I get off my work come home, grab a coffee and watch insert art. You guys are my rest time buddies 😊. And you are my favourite Alysha 😌❤️
Structure wise drawfee might be awesome to look at for how the present several prompts and stuff in the one video
totally agree!
I was literally thinking "they should try doing something like draawfee, cause they have multiple hosts" while watching this video lol
Those look amazing, and I really love how this channel is starting to settle.
