Sergei Grinkov was such a vision of a man. I'm so glad that they had a beautiful child together before he tragically passed away. He really does live on through his daughter in a way nothing else could provide. And you can that child has that very genuinely sweet and pure heart like her parents.
This was a long time ago, Daria from what I’ve seen is very different today. She actually didn’t turn out too well. Smoking, full of tattoos, fornicating, too thin, nose ring. I hope she changes her ways.
Son of biscuit I am so in awe of how she looks exactly like her father & how Ekaterina, her mom’s ❤️ must be bursting with so many emotions everyday just looking at her beautiful, gorgeous, talented, loving & so on, daughter by her beloved late husband Sergio!
It was so sad, when her husband passed away. They were the best dancing pair. You could tell they were so happy and in love. They were so beautiful inside and out. Daria looks like her father with that big smile.
I can't help seeing bits of Sergei in Daria ... Like how she claps her hands together, her smile, the little satisfied sigh she does at the end of the performance .... It's truly a bit of him living on.

Daria's smile is a comfort to all who will always miss her daddy. She seems to possess his warmth as well and his ease with people. Less reserved than Katia it seems.

I cried thru it all! She's been blessed with a daddy watching her from heaven and one here who you can tell loves her as much as his own (Ilia). So happy that he understand the importance of keeping Sergie's memory alive while knowing his wife loves him as well. I think when you lose a soul mate that sometimes God opens our hearts to another & that's OK. If not I'd be alone now & my other half is in no way threatened, they in fact tracked down one of my favorite guitars that belonged to my former partner & gave it to me for my birthday. Our hearts are big enough I believe that.
I agree with you completely. I think that Ilia should be given credit for letting Katia and Daria honor Sergei's memory. They are divorced now but they were married a long time and also had a daughter. In fact, they were married longer than Sergei and Katia.
I don't think I could marry another man if my husband dies. He's not perfect as no one is, but, he's perfect for me, and accepts me for my INFJ personality. Don't think anyone else would, so, don't think I could find someone accepting of me. I'm glad you found another soul mate.

This is the first time in years that I had a chance to catch-up on what they were doing, cause I had the book, My Sergei, and said Daria must be all grown up, and wondered if she also skated, and boy was I surprised by this, I also had tears, couldn't believe it. I'm so happy for them!
I remember watching the story of their love story and how Sergei had trouble being serious about his skating then he dropped her and was devastated and after that he always focused and protected her. I see his daughter like him always being a jokster and being a free spirit. I hope she finds her passion for whatever she chooses to do in her life the way her dad did because of love ❤️✨
Looking at pictures of her now, it's like looking at Sergei, she is his absolute double, beautiful and huge smile just like her dad. Madness to think she's a woman now when we see these videos. Her dad must be the proudest man in heaven watching her grow into such a beautiful woman.
