Does your phone pass safetynet? If not then it won't work it's clearly mentioned in the description. If your safety passes but you are on the stock ROM with an unlocked bootloader then you have to either root your device or lock the bootloader.

Yes, locking or unlocking the bootloader will wipe the data. Different phones have different methods for locking and unlocking bootloaders. Maybe you can lock the bootloader using mi flash tool

I'm not sure if it's related, but I had a similar issue on my Pixel 6. When I installed Nethunter, my CTS profile failed, and the Play Store became uncertified. However, once I uninstalled Nethunter, the CTS profile passed, and the Play Store automatically became certified.

If you are on stock Miui then it will detect the unlocked bootloader so it won't work on any stock ROM unlocked bootloader phone. If you have root access then try flashing universal safetynet it will automatically fix the playstore not certified issue

Reflash the stock ROM. Your ROM must be on latest Security patches as Outdated security patches can cause SafetyNet failures.

If you are using a stock MIUI ROM with an unlocked bootloader then you have to root your device.
