Hey Roger when do you think this deal will get finalized? Also when do you expect Hulu to be fully merged with Disney+ and all the Hulu content will be in Disney+ ?
I think it would be great if Disney could surprise stateside audiences by announcing the completion of the purchase of Hulu, with a full launch date of Spring/Summer 2025. It’d be great if they could do that when they bring ESPN into Disney+ in The States.
Hulu is the more successful of the two streaming services, so Disney definitely wants to get this thing settled. When they are merged, since Disney has been selling a bundle, many Disney + subscribers already have Hulu so subscriber numbers will drop if they combine the two services. Right now one subscriber with both counts as two subscribers.

Sounding as though Disney will owe no more money. Roberts is emphasizing they invested in it also, so perhaps Disney won't receive a refund of the percentage they paid, though.

I like this idea because it will be better to have other contact like Hulu get more movies and TV shows. I think I think it’s gonna be right even better where we has since last Christmas I hope fully and to see Jack Frost to return and couple movies like Mamma Mia and Gary dancing. I can’t wait. I think around the end of October. Yeah that’s my guess I like this update oh in one last scene I hope we get grease
For Disney+ only subscribers now that they are finished the beta testing Hulu content on Disney+ months ago we don’t have access to that content anymore due to the bundle roadblock and I think that is going to ultimately hurt Hulu in the long run because not everyone will have access to the Hulu content I’m an American subscriber to Disney+ and my main reason for subscribing was cause Disney and the BBC forced me to just so I could continue watching doctor who that I was watching on cable on BBC America since I started watching with everyone else in season 6 Matt’s second season but I did go back and full watch the first 5 seasons of the modern era and I’m still working my way through the classic era and there isn’t much on Disney+ in the way of original series outside of marvel and Star Wars and those 2 franchises can’t keep at least the American side of the app going by themselves cause all the original series in America or at least 99% of them wind up on Hulu not Disney+
I will merge hulu into disney + renamed app to 1923 or disney 100 and merge Pixar hub into disney hub and add 20th century fox hub into service and disney should look at buying starz merge into max or starz after hulu fully merge into disney + app
I am hoping this is done soon so I can move away from hulu and I will love to see hulu buy out paramount showtime so I can watch it on one service not multiple like bundle with disney, hulu and max to many of them aslo I am hoping disney replace hulu with max moving forward when hulu closed down

I got the Disney Bundle including Disney+, Hulu and ESPN. Hulu was the legendary successful in the USA.
Once that Comcast deal is completed, I can see Disney use the Hulu branding outside the US (with Japan being the sole exception)
I could easily see Star being rebranded to Hulu too

Hulu is more successful in the U.S. for sure :-). There will no doubt be a readjusting of subscriber numbers when they merge :-)

Disney Plus is trying to diversify. They have more children's and family programming so Hulu will give viewers more adult options

Hi, just wanted to know does anybody know whether the Hulu exclusive Family Guy Halloween special will be coming out this week on Disney+ in the UK?
Hasn’t been officially announced yet but could very easily turn up on the same day as many things do
