Frame and leaf springs are land rover series (2 or 2a or 3). Also the visible front part of the frame is land rover. The axles are much to wide to be series or defender.
@@chrisridethatbloodything2044 the axles are too wide for a series but the Defender axles were wider, its not a difficult conversion, just a bit of grinding and welding.
Looks like Toyota Landcruiser 60Series Axles front and rear and power steering box also from a 60Series Landcruiser. Easy swap for a series Rover and gives Disc brakes with much stronger axles
About 25 years ago had the pleasure of building a mini big foot using a swb landie. Rover v8 and gearbox out of a range rover. Dana 60 a axels 4 inch body lift 6 inch suspension lift . Lots of but a lot fun . The owner was very pleased. And what a beast I really like this motor. And the stickers on the back
Or a two with a complete three front bodywork, its had a new chassis by the looks, and I think the two's had a PTO outlet on the rear cross member, often used as somewhere to mount the trailer electrical socket, contemplating a rebuild of my own two as it is very much in need of one, just got to decide to commit the money!.
Amazing beautiful project engine sound amazing wheels tires he right "built it not bought " Any information about this lovely series 3 Can you add details for this project please.
Amazing built. The stickers are a little passive aggressive, though. Here in North America you’d see that kind of stuff on butt-hurt republicans and homely housewives SUV’s
Range Rover or Discovery axles would give it a wider stance, and is not a very involved update, but it is still on leaf springs by the looks, the axle conversion would also give disc brakes, a useful improvement.
Butchered in all aspects, with only a resemblance to a Series Land Rover. Series 3 body parts mostly, with Defender wheel arches... A toy that cost a lot to build, with no value other than driving up and down on a crowded beach....
Salt water? if yes.. Why do that to your vehicle?
It’s a Land Rover
The creek is fresh water.
As lo g as you removeit after I see no issues. Plus, it is a land rover as said.
Si limpias el chasis con agua a presión no habrá ningún problema. La carrocería es de aluminio
Only the coat is landrover i think.Inner is Japanese.what type of old school is that ?
Yep probably

@@chrisridethatbloodything2044 big negative offset on those rims to turn those mud boggers, it looks like disco or RRC diffs but not positive

I'm currently looking at a Series 3 in a junkyard and THIS is how I want it to look and sound when I'm finished with it! 😍
