Thanks for uploading this video! I'm hoping it's what's wrong with my 2011 TDI Sportwagen. I've already replaced the in-tank fuel pump, rail fuel pump, and the HPFP pressure regulator. My car did the same things yours did in the video.
I had a fuel pressure sensor go bad on my golf 1.4 TSI twin charge . I took a good few sensors to find the correct one. I bought a secondhand one off Ebay (same part number as the one removed) nothing. I then bought a new aftermarket one with the same result. I then bought a genuine Bosch unit, it worked. I think the petrol engine used a defaut reading, the car still ran.
If you just replace the sensor with all that metal debris in the line, it's just going to fail again. Clean out ALL of the fuel lines and replace the failing high pressure fuel pump which is the cause of all that metal. Place neodymium magnet on the inside and outside of the fuel pump bucket in the diesel tank to catch debris to prevent it from recirculating.
I recently replaced my plugs coils and injectors. there was sand in my injectors and fuel line. I have still have a random misfire and bogging during heavy throttle. could that possibly be the hpfp? it's a 2.0tsi
@@joey_bag_a_donuts Open the fuel filter and also open the access to the tank fuel pump in the tank. You are looking for shiny metal particulates on top of the filter and below the fuel pump in the tank when using a flashlight. If you have more than 175k miles on the the car, replace the high pressure fuel pump. I would also install a fuel filter on the return fuel to keep the metal out of the rest of the system. It could be your high pressure fuel pump HPFP but if it is then the other two fuel pumps may also not be putting out enough fuel due to metal shavings shorting out the magnets. Usually when one goes, all 3 of the pumps go.
Hi.. I have seat alhambra 2017 with same code problem, I changed the same sensor bit the problem is still there. Could u please give me some advice . Thanks
Hi mate, I keep getting p0087 code when I try accelerate, I can turn the car off and on, and it's no longer in limp mode until I accelerate again, replaced HPFP, fuel filter, injectors, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator and sensor, fuel pump in tank. What else could cause a low fuel rail pressure???? Any help would be appreciated, I'm out of ideas

glow plugs fulfill their role only at start-up, after that they are no longer active, they don't matter anymore. even if I disconnect all the glow plugs the car still starts even at minus 10C

Hello friend, can you please tell me, did you just erase faults after replacing sensor or you had to code it with program..
Ciao , dopo avere sostituito il sensore bisogna fare lo spurgo del carburante?
One question - did you put any washer on the sensor?? No leaking afterwards...??
do you have leak on your car? İ have a leak problem after reolace anew one 😢

Timing chain tensioner
I have that too. Was thinking of changing the sensor and regulator on both ends of the fuel rail. Did you sort yours out?
I have this same issue. Did you ever find a solution?
Thank you...dear
I have the same problem but vcds show nothing
Mechanic say in its early fault so no fault

shouldn't you activate secondary fuel pumps before the engine start after such repair? For getting rid off all the air which may be in the rail?
