Emus getting close -

This afternoon the emus got much closer to me here at The Comet opal mine in Koroit. They seem to be getting used to me. I have no idea why the closest one got freaked out at the end.
It’s always important to remember that these are wild animals. They’re not too bright … and they have significant claws on those feet which are attached to strong legs …
