Oh...3+ months on...and I still can't get enough of your LP, 'Blond on the Tracks'.....playing all the time. Love it! Thank you, so much. Your Album in Brilliant!!! Especially on Vinyl. Just saying...
Lovely. I have played this CD over and over. I am wondering if there could be a Blond on the Tracks 2. I would like to here Emma sing Love Minus Zero/No limit and Tomorrow is a Long Way.
@@EmmaSwiftsings Well, let's hope this has pulled in more interest in your music. You know, with Dylan he has a long history of doing cover versions revitalizing his own song writing. It seemed to happen with his two albums of traditional material in the early nineties and with his more recent Sinatra covers and maybe with some of what he was doing with covers in the late sixties. Maybe doing Dylan will take you to new heights with your own stuff in the same way. And I feel a bity guilty saying this but I didn't like Dylan's 'I Contain Multitudes' when it came out. It's grown on me but I still prefer your version.
Love the interpretations of the Dylan songs.Intending on purchasing the album/cd soon but could anyone help with the following please.was reading a review on nudist.net which says album is packed with 5 songs per side or straight 10 on cd.However I have only seen 4 songs per side and 8 on cd.Is it just a case of them getting it wrong or was there some deluxe edition that had 10 on,any help would be gratefully appreciated.Thank you
They sat together in the park As the evening sky grew dark. She looked at him and he felt a spark Tingle to his bones. 'Twas then he felt alone And wished that he'd gone straight And watched out for a simple twist of fate. They walked alone by the old canal. A little confused, I remember well, And stopped into a strange hotel with a neon burning bright. He felt the heat of the night hit him like a freight train Moving with a simple twist of fate. A saxophone someplace far off played As she was walking on by the arcade As the light bust through a beat up shade Where he was waking up. She dropped a coin into the cup of a blind man at the gate And forgot about a simple twist of fate. He woke up; the room was bare. He didn't see her anywhere. He told himself he didn't care; pushed the window open wide; Felt an emptiness inside to which he just could not relate Brought on by a simple twist of fate. He hears the ticking of the clocks And walks along with a parrot that talks. Hunts her down by the waterfront docks Where the sailors all come in. Maybe she'll pick him out again. How long must he wait One more time for a simple twist of fate. People tell me it's a sin To know and feel too much within. I still believe she was my twin, but I lost the ring. She was born in spring, but I was born too late. Blame it on a simple twist of fate.
I have started feeling that only you and Joan Baez should be allowed to cover Bob Dylan. Hope you record more Bob Dylan songs especially something from Bringing it all back home.
I just keep coming back to this. Bought the record, have the MP3 in the car... but still I can't get enough of it.

Hello Kevin! Thanks for getting in touch. It's eight songs. 4 on each side on the LP/ cassette version!
Emma, are you also the artist for the animated videos?
For this one, I am!
They sat together in the park
As the evening sky grew dark.
She looked at him and he felt a spark
Tingle to his bones.
'Twas then he felt alone
And wished that he'd gone straight
And watched out for a simple twist of fate.
They walked alone by the old canal.
A little confused, I remember well,
And stopped into a strange hotel with a neon burning bright.
He felt the heat of the night hit him like a freight train
Moving with a simple twist of fate.
A saxophone someplace far off played
As she was walking on by the arcade
As the light bust through a beat up shade
Where he was waking up.
She dropped a coin into the cup of a blind man at the gate
And forgot about a simple twist of fate.
He woke up; the room was bare.
He didn't see her anywhere.
He told himself he didn't care; pushed the window open wide;
Felt an emptiness inside to which he just could not relate
Brought on by a simple twist of fate.
He hears the ticking of the clocks
And walks along with a parrot that talks.
Hunts her down by the waterfront docks
Where the sailors all come in.
Maybe she'll pick him out again. How long must he wait
One more time for a simple twist of fate.
People tell me it's a sin
To know and feel too much within.
I still believe she was my twin, but I lost the ring.
She was born in spring, but I was born too late.
Blame it on a simple twist of fate.
