Not to pick your words apart or play word games or semantics, but for the highly naive & gullible people out there who don't know any better, I think it's worth clarifying this VERY important part in responding to your unintentionally misguided comment. There is no "person who did the restoration on this vehicle". A restoration of this magnitude is a project laid out well in advance by a project manager with spec's drawings and a complete team of craftsmen specializing in their certain areas of expertise, whether it be upholstery, electronics, engine and transmission work, to paint work and detailing. In other words, it requires a whole team of professionals to do a restoration of this magnitude. This isn't done by just some "person" who did this entire restoration as your comment makes it sound!
A dollar will fix it, if it's what I think it is. Sounds like crossed torsion rods as springs, had an '84 Tbird with that setup. A dollar worth of plastic hose slit up the side and snapped over one spring will make it almost inaudible. I think there used to be little hard rubber dongles that snapped onto both in the middle and held them apart 1/8" or so as well, but would eventually harden up and break off.

I remember those beautiful mustang pony cars. As a teenager, a guy roared by my house in a 1968 mustang and slid into the driveway of my new neighbor, his sister. It took my breath away as He jumped out of that beautiful golden dream machine. A shivering thrill ran down my spine as I shouted in my head, "OMG... I'm gonna marry that guy!" Four years later we parked our pair of 1970 Boss 302 mustangs in front of the church where we married. Then we jumped into his competition gold Boss burnt out Sideways... rolling smoke into the faces of the jaw dropping crowd, that had just peppered us with rice. Bangin thru the gears with that Hurst shifter, amidst the unmistakable, menacing, rumbling growl of the fast Ford Mustang, is the most fun we Ever had... with clothes on!! Thanks for the smokin hot memories!!

My favorite part and this not to be funny are the Turn Signal Lights in the Rearview Mirrors. I have wanted to see that installed in a hot rod like this for a long time.
I had 68 same color of blue with a 302 4-speed, and I put a full race cam in it and it had the hood with the signal lights on it. I had Cragar Mags on and topped it out over 130mph. It had that nice lope to it and sounded like this car.
I bet this car was garage-kept & only driven indoors in a climate controlled environment. The tiny details are everywhere. Flawless panel alignment, discreet and functional retromods, and all the parts seem to have the perfect home. I didn't even notice the harness bar until the 4th or 5th time watching this short. Well built.
Yeah it looked very good until he started turning on all that lighting crap. If you want shitty interior leds just buy a new car. Classics are classic for a reason.
There are many wonderful cars that will truly remain in history and archives, but the fact is that technology is always relentless. Excellent machines always become museum pieces for a mere matter of time.
