Hey guys! I'm a new wargamer just building a collection of non conventional themes games. I always have been interested in Ethiopian history for personal reasons andso I was really happy finding a game on this theme to be my first hex and counter game. Looking forward for receiving it. Merci for your excellent videos. Cheers from France!
Cool video on what looks like a fascinating game I love games with hidden values for some of the units it's always a lot of fun to flip those units over and see who you're dealing with
Waaaah has there been an earthquake where you guys are - that table is about to slide out of view :D Very tempted to pick this up. Always had an interest in the 1941 campaign because it opened up the Red Sea (without which all the subsequent British efforts in the Mediterranean would have been logistically impossible). However I am always wary of games that use a single D6 on a CRT as results can swing wildly and wonder if Alexander was scuppered by those single D6 rolls.
I don't believe you will get less swingy CRTs in wargaming than 1D6 tables. Of course you might end up with an attack that was supposed to break your opponent, but did not work out. You won't have a 3-1 combat though that annihilates your force.
Thanks Grant and Alexander. You boys sure have read many rulebooks recently. Which game over the last few months has stood out the most in each of your minds?
Alexander - That's a tough one, a lot of good stuff happening right now. Holland '44 was incredible. Down in Flames: Locked-On was a very fun DiF title, and this one was a particularly interesting title a well, a perfect amount of chrome, that add to the game and did not clog it up.

It's a unique game, from a lot of stand points. Very enjoyable experience.

Haha, I just need a new camera stand, this thing is falling apart.

Holland '44 looked really fun but the two of you played for 9 hours.
The nine hours was what made it fun. It honestly only felt like a few hours.
excellent game
