the song is playing over the speakers, you aren't hearing the crowd singing. maybe a couple voices in there but its not like the entire arena is in perfect unison
If enough people sing it will pretty much always sound good. I remember about a decade ago during the Wacken Festival shortly before Amon Amarth had their slot they played "The Bards Song - In the Forest" by Blind Guardian over the Speakers, when the Band was supposed to start playing they stopped the speaker music, yet the crowd still continued to sing the song. It sounded beautiful despite at least half of the people being too drunk to even remember the lyrics. Amon Amarth respectfully delayed the start of their gig until the crowd was finished singing.
This reminds me of when i was on a bus to a convention. We were all total strangers but then.. all star by smash mouth started playing and the entire bus was just vibing and i still think of it somethimes
I remember another video like this where a confused older guys voice said something along the lines of "what is happening? That song wasn't even this popular when it came out?!"
Check out crowd singing Queen before Green Day concert, if you haven't watched that already.. Gave me goosebump tears, and renewed my faith in humanity.
i was at a janet jackson concert back in 2018 and when the DJ started to play I want you back, I swear everyone was up singing and dancing along. I wish I had video
Thank you @SwaggerSouls for bringing this song back into my life so many years ago. Now all I hear is your beautiful voice screaming this song every time I hear it. And each time, I smile and laugh just a little.
I was here and it was GREAT. So many gen z's absolutely giving Africa the glory it deserves. Everyone started to out their flash on we were so into it😂
Was at a Garth brooks concert at the arena when he started Unanswered Prayers man barely made it 3 words in before the audience took over and he just rolled with it, Dont think he sang more then a line of the whole song before he was done. the look on his face was pure joy as the audience sang his song for him
I was there for this! This happened either right before or right after ARIZONA preformed and no one really listened to them. My friends and I laughed about it but we also felt bad for them...
there's such a sense of community singing with this many people at once. something similar happened at a fall out boy concert I went to several years ago, the crowd started singing along to death of a bachelor (funnily enough) before the show started
I remember when Coldplay came to our country for a concert and somehow somewhere, during "Fix You", the sound blew and no one could actually hear a thing but then from the front echoed the song out loudly, word by word. People couldn't catch up at 1st but when it reached the 1st chorus line, everyone aligned and finished the whole song under no sound guide from the artists themselves except faint instrument sounds and that's it. Power of the people.
I went to go see Flogging molly live and before they came on Teenage Wasteland came on and everyone is the crowd started singing! It was probably one of the greatest times of my life

I was at the panic concert in düsseldorf, Germany and I deadass thought this video was from there lmao, great to see this moment happened multiple times :D
I would kill to be at this moment. Not the concert, I would walk out right after this happened. Fuck it. It doesn’t get better than “Africa” and an entire arena just banging out to it.
Panic At The Disco: *Doesnt start concert*
Crowd: Fine, we will do it ourselves
😏
Here before this comment blows up
this version is way better
Hahaaa

bro how is everyone singing with such great pitch and timing? they sound like a chorus tf
