Why are captions closed in a video related to accessibility and deafness? At least there could be automatic captions. After all, not everyone watching knows English, right?

I'm working on my Postgraduate Diploma on accessibility for audiovisual material, but in Latinamerica, we don't have much information and less than that, the possibility of research about what we can do.
