I liked the Brown Town, proper name and the trail.

Haha, It is hard to mention some of these trails without snickering a little.

Dude, glad you guys had a great time. Mountain biking is addictive, and the adrenaline rush can last for hours! Also, consider elbow pads, knee pads, and gloves. You WILL eventually crash. 😉

Well you did much better than I did the first time I rode down Browntown...and in some ways better than I still do! lol. I can usually ride that steep waving dirt section without falling now but I'm a wimp when it comes to steep rocky roll sections like that ones here and I'm trying to build my courage back up with better technique. I've just endoed too many times in the past and bashed myself on too many rocks 🤕

It's a challenging trail! I've done it twice now. I think the trick is to not fight it. Look for specific places to slow down and get used to sliding. Such a great trail system though huh? Seems like there's always something to challenge you.

@@TheSaucyMTBr Yeah I probably spend way too much time there but its so convenient with so many options and open even when the other trails are closed...that and getting tennis elbow caused me to become more downhill oriented anyways since certain difficult uphill moves now hurt like hell 😋Rode Brown town recently again and I was able to find a way through every section but still didn't do that same rock roll you went around...I'm sure I can get it eventually but I just need to get more comfortable with that section.

Like your channel. You are a good rider. I ride similar conditions and climb a lot. Which bikes are you liking these days? I am thinking of picking up a Trail Pistol frame as GG is OOB and the bikes are inexpensive. Do you think parts will be a problem? Ever ride DW Link bikes like the Pivots or IBIS? Corporate jobs suck.

Hey, thanks for the kind words. The Trail Pistol was a great bike. I broke my stays and GG warrantied them with a Smash kit, which is what I'm on now and I love it. I've also tried the Gnarvana, awesome bike, but it's a bit too much travel for the Colorado front range, IMO. Canfield Bikes is selling spare GG parts, though I'm not sure how long they will have inventory. But you're right, GG bikes are inexpensive on the used market now and I plan on just buying spare frames as I need parts. Gonna keep this thing going for as long as I can! (Also, never personally tried Pivot or Ibis, but I had been eyeing down a Ripmo before I went with GG). Cheers!
