Is it possible to create a double entry system? If so, how? I make products from raw materials. I would like to create a list of my raw materials on the one hand. On the other hand, I would like to create a list of my finished products, and then link them with the specific raw materials that are used to make each product. This way, when I receive an order, I know if I have all the raw materials I need to make that product.
Note that Sortly seems only able to scan bar codes from products sold in the US. It is not able to identify products with European or Middle East/Africa bar codes. Those have to be entered manually. 😞
Hey Alison! We pull data from Amazon and eBay when scanning the codes. If the items exist on those portals we should be able to pull them in. Unfortunately, we do not control the items listed on those portals but are working to get better and more accurate data from these scans.

I'm trying to find software that does this as well. Did you ever find anything?
@@jenniferpanther6997 Unfortunately, I haven't. I'm using Excel.
@@elau1436 That's what I ended up suggesting to my client. Thanks for responding!

Sounds good but ive lost over 60% of my recorded sales on the platform, data completely not recorded, very unreliable
So there wasn't any historical data captured, or it was just lost. I guess I need to find out where the data is stored.
Wow that’s not good.
Good luck getting ahold of someone in Billing when they incorrectly charge you.
