Try Pam cooking spray on any bait , you can even spray it on a small rag and catch monster catfish. Yes ANYTHING with Pam cooking spray will attract Monsters but is kinda messy
Cool vid so many do the Jello chicken video just showing how to make it and just using Jello chicken but you showed how it's better then plain. You doing another vid using other flavor jello?
Paused at 0:50.. chicken is king for catfish, garlic powder on said chicken is emperor. I'd have to go with jello because any addition to a known winner has to give better results statistically

Win or loose , it does not matter , as long as you had fun catching them.
Pro tip- Hawaiian Punch Berry Blue Typhoon mix packets.
I've caught trout, bass, catfish, leopard shark and batray using it on bait.
Also, I primarily use dollar store hot dogs as well. Even caught trout on the hot dogs.

I like this bait for my catfish, but I find strawberry Jell-O hotdogs work best in my water.

It's the sweetness of the jello I use sweet corn and honey in my carp bait and catch cat fish all the time!!

Try chicken with soy sauce, garlic and a pinch of sugar, in my limited tests it beat plain and jello chicken as well as worms or cut bluegill.

That's how it is for us... James mostly has luck on plain and I mostly have luck on Jello.

I actually prefer kool-aid to jello. It seems like it penetrates better and it definitely draws the moisture out more.
Absolutely agree! We have another video coming in a few weeks where KOOL-AID was on fire.
I've tried both at the same time and neither produced any fish, but chicken livers did.
Chicken works good on the potomac River for us, but at other waters we fish chicken liver is better.
A old style bait was a 3 or 4 inch shiner, cut open the belly and double hook it with the hook point hidden.
We used this long ago
