- one of my arrow keys came off during the fight but I stayed determined
This is the final boss of the neutral run. If you're playing true pacifist, you have to beat the neutral run before you can continue with the true pacifist run (just reload your last save, don't fight Asgore and backtrack until you get a phone call.)

Depending on your actions in the Neutral route, this can be a fight to save the world from a demon, or a fight between two psychopaths to determine who gets to control the world.
I’m on this fight now and don’t know which fight this is? Who are the two psychopaths. I think I’m trying to save the world though!!
The middle ground is pretty much just you having no idea what you're doing other than just praying to God that you can kill this godless creature.

Flowey is truly a tortured being. He has no SOUL and spends every day of his life having no emotion and unable to feel/care, the only thing he can feel being emptiness. Makes sense he'd eventually go mad

the fact that the screams get more muffled and the attacks get faster and the face in the tv gets more horrifying as you kill him is what makes this boss battle amazing. Flowey is such a good character.

I remember seeing boss Flowey for the first time and being absolutely horrified. Toby Fox is an absolutely genius making boss Flowey unpixellated because up until this point the whole game is pixelated. It really jars the player the first time they see it.

The end of the intro really gives me chills. He tells you flat out you are a idiot, then the ambience abruptly stops. Then your soul shows...then 6 more. That part especially gives me chills, because you are used to there only being 1, which is you. It is like 6 bad you's.

Really opens up a perspective on the fact that the other 6 human souls do have their own stories to tell, they’re not just colors or attack mechanics. And…it’s particularly easy to get attached to them, at least for me. 🍀

The end is so heartbreaking, his real voice showed itself, he felt emotion for the first time in a long time, he got so overwhealmed by this that he had to run away.

I remember playing this one for the first time. The hyperrealistic graphics and the face on the television screen scared the crap outta me but I gotta say, it's one of the best boss battles I've ever played in video games.

I feel like this fight is truly, the best boss battle in Undertale. Maybe even in any video game.
The Omega Flowey boss fight, is, in a sense... hell.
Flowey constantly throwing cheap attacks, reloading save files mid-game, and doing everything he can to make your life hell.
What's worse, is that it's not like he's doing this to stop you from doing something.
*He enjoys it.*
Which is why the fight is so amazing. You're fighting against true evil. To stop him, you have to put up with his cheap attacks, whilst you fight an unfair battle, weighed against you.
The music, though, it what I want to talk about.
The first track, "Your Best Nightmare" has a certain feel to it.
Cluttered instruments, fast, and overall has a sense of dread.
What Flowey wants you to feel. Like there's no escape.
The second and last track, appropriately named "Finale", flips that on its head.
It's now no longer dread you feel, but instead, hope.
The instruments harmonize, and the theme which was once meant to instill fear, now feels triumphant, motivating you to run that last mile, and finish the battle.
The emotions conveyed are some I've never seen when playing a game, let alone a boss fight.
In my opinion, it's at least one of the best boss fights ever made.
it makes me feel kinda sad when flowey is taunting frisk to call for help, yelling "Mommy! Daddy! Somebody help!" and he changes his face to his warped version of his own mother's face

Flowey is the most accurate representation of the player in the whole gaming history. it's very smart to show how do other characters see the player through Flowey.
I mean, seriously. with power to save, Flowey stopped caring about others. and as he thinks, he's just a normal player, but to others he's a psychopath because of things he has done this time. just like the player in the most of the endings. don't you find it interesting?

In neutral you and Flowey are enemies and all you want is the other one to be dead. You're each the driving forces of the timelines.
In pacifist Flowey becomes Asriel and you become Frisk (Your "True forms" if you will)
In genocide you kill Flowey but get killed by Chara right afterwards (so you both die).
You and Flowey will always experience the same fate. You're equals!

I like that flowey , after fighting with him (when finale is playing) when you first start hitting him, he makes that noise, the OOH like mocking you. But when his health is halfway, he makes that GRRRCH noise. Like he then realizes that you aren’t kidding, you’re going to keep going until he dies. Then he starts to panic, and the fight isn’t a one way fight anymore.
Flowey is scared of you.

Legit when you kill flowey he realises that even though he resets his health and is about to kill you,the souls decide be their own master and corrupt omega flowey,causing him to immediately be obliterated and is begging for you to destroy him so the madness doesn't start all over

I was revisiting this game and I had a thought, what if the faces displayed on the screen were the souls' faces distorted? Probably from the agony of being trapped in Omega Flowey's body.

I love the design based around the theme of determination. The purposeful feeling you get of how hopeless this boss fight is when you do so little damage especially. But then with determination you are rewarded as the fight progresses and are able to defeat flowey

Deadass one of the most adrenaline pumping moments in gaming, and it's not even that hard.
The stark contrast between Omega Flowey and the pixel artstyle of the rest of the game, his otherworldly and Lovecraftian appearance, the bangin' music, Flowey's ability to manipulate your save file, flowey closing your game, and the triumphant comeback of the souls that leaves Flowey incredulous as to how he could be beaten all makes for one of the greatest moments in gaming.

This game is perfect it’s been awhile since it was relevant. The way the characters are developed in all the runs make flowey truly feel like a threat after your first play through. Really good characters like this are what make great storytelling media. If only more authors knew how to make characters as detailed as in undertale and other great stories that stick with people.
Moral Lesson : A Psychopath must not try to argue with another Psychopath.
So...the facade of Flowey falls away to reveal the true mastermind behind everything....PHOTOSHOP.
