Kay, I get she had a crush before the Isles, but... wouldn’t Amity be the perfect person to try falling in love with after rejection?
Maybe I’m just mentally aligned to analytically, but let’s think about this:
Luz is Bi, and likes both guys and gals, which means Amity is physically in her court as both attractive to Luz in both sexual and aesthetic manners.
Amity is already a friend, meaning there’s an emotional relationship to base anything else off of that can actually support more than just “you’re cute” syndrome.
Amity admits to having feelings for her, which means rejection is off the table from square 1, making the hardest part over.
Blondie has already rejected her out of hand and is openly opposed to her personality and quirks, as well as openly exhibiting the personality Amity had earlier but without redeeming qualities below.
So why in the name of the twenty-seven blessed stars is she saying there’s someone else instead of explaining that she doesn’t feel the same right now but can try?!
I believe it's because she doesn't want to use Amity as a replacement for said girl that already rejected her because it wouldn't be fair to Amity. She would just be a rebound since both the girl that rejected Luz and Amity have similar features. And maybe Luz actually does have feelings for Amity in the comic story but she isn't sure if it's actual romantic feelings or if she's just projecting her desires for the girl from the human world on to Amity.
Was there anymore to that comic?
We are busy looking for lumity content and Amity's love for Luz. But no-one/most of us didn't thought about Luz's Love, in the human world.
That made me dropped my pen.
It would be interesting to see how people treated in the human world, maybe bullying her, or just ignoring her

Actually, what i have noticed after the comic of Witches among Humans was uploaded, i realized how bad humans are, i mean, not bad villain, but whenever there is something supernatural being or unexplainable thing happened, you are automatically a criminal and being hunted by the human society and military. But a human in the boiling isles, they don't care if you are human, in fact they are even fascinated about the humans and their cultures. Man The Owl House is simply amazing.

@@alferrbidelspatch158 yeah I know, but I think people will treat more bad just for, you know, being gay than for being supernatural. And that lead me to some deep thought that could be interesting in the series: humans are like a hivemind, they like the same, want the same, laught at the same, and if someone has a little of different thinking, they consider that person as a freak

If you mean the blonde with the pink stipe in her hear then yeah she is a character. You can find her in the first episodes flash backs. And i dont think luz had s crush on her in canon.
