I had stage 3 colon cancer last year as well, routine exam and it did what it was supposed to do. I am on the other side. Surgery and chemos because the cancer took the party on the road to the lymph nodes. I am not the same person I was before chemo. Not watched any videos,not created anything,not sure I will. But you have been such a force for good in my previous life I saw your title and had to make sure you were ok. SO GLAD IT WAS NOT a bad thing.
I was so so blessed in my journey, so lucky. So grateful. I want it for everyone fighting. Thank you for the clean unencumbered joy, peace and beauty you have created for this beautiful 70k+ souls from around this crazy world. You have made a difference. My word, what a panic! I imagined you feeling the need to retire from both the Facebook group and RUclips but, being a selfish old thing, I am happy you're continuing with the RUclips channel but do feel for those in the Facebook group who will really miss you and your brilliant ideas. I can totally understand your decision and you're right to have made it. Something as dramatic and life changing as cancer, causes people to rethink their lives and their future pathways and you have been thoughtful and sensible enough to do that. I know all your followers adore you and so appreciate your time and the lovely way you show us how to reproduce your ideas or be inspired to do a similar version; as seen in your comments. Cancer does change one’s perspective and it can be an important part of recovery to evaluate commitments. It can be really valuable to change folks at the helm of something after a while. What a wonderful opportunity for both you and Martha. ❤❤❤❤

Nina, words escape me just now, I truly don't know what to say. I am happy for you, and completely understand your feelings on this. You need to take care of yourself, and a change of pace will do you good. I will miss your regular videos, but I know how to get in touch and will fully support anything you do with your social media. I'll be keeping in touch, you can't get rid of me too easily. Looking forward to a fresh, new start for all in 2024.

I so understand the need to sometimes change direction in your life and a health scare can sometimes trigger the need to change priorities. You have certainly earned a break. I believe I have been a member of your group for at least 7 of those years. I didn't even know what mixed media was until I found your channel. I have enjoyed every episode of it. Thank you for all your instruction and inspiration over the years. I recently gave up a group that I had led for 7 years. Change can be hard or a much needed reset. I am choosing it to be a reset. I don't make new years resolutions, but I did choose a word "Determined" for this year and time in my life.

I have followed you almost from the beginning. On Sunday's I would get in from walking my beloved Polo (Dalmatian dog, Sadly no longer with us), cook us breakfast, or sit with a cold drink, both of us ready to join you.
