I have totally no idea what this is supposed to be? It isn't Ballet and it certainly isn't Gaite Parisienne. If it comes close to anything it is acrobatics completely unsynchronised and disorientated to the music. Basically a shambles! To see the genuine article of Gaite Parisienne watch the original Ballet choreographed by Fokine for the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo 1941.. It was filmed by Warner and is available on RUclips.
L'orchestre fait ici ressortir toute la vulgarité de l'orchestration de Rosenthal... Les percussions sont beaucoup trop présentes ! On est très très très éloigné de l'esprit d'Offenbach !
