I have to say your channel, in general, is some of the most interesting disc golf commentary that I have ever watched. You usually bring on quality guests that can really help add to the thought process of what the players were thinking/feeling during the tournament. Thank you I appreciate it.
+Clay Postlewaite Not really the cheapest sport :D atleast for me i always find new discs to try And throw 13-20€ a disc and having like +10 discs aint that cheap
+Dongge as a ball golfer as well as a disc golfer, disc golf is MUCH cheaper...the clubs that I have cost around $1500 And a dozen golf balls (which you can easily lose multiple balls per round) cost anywhere between $35-$45. 10 discs that will usually last many seasons if you get good durable plastic is not that much comparatively speaking. Not to mention I used to pay anywhere from $25-$70 per round of ball golf. Disc golf I play for free.
I started playing disc golf a few months ago in Florida, and I enjoy the game. My game is improving, and I've learned some great tips from these instructional videos and tournaments like this. These guys are pretty darn good and intimidating....lol...I enjoy the scenery at the various tournaments, also.

I really wish we could see every round of these major events and also the presidents cup. I know spin tv was there, but why cant we get more coverage? Smashboxx covers every round of a tournament that they cover why cant you?
***** This is "The Beast" in Nokia, Finland. It's a temporary course for this tournament. There is a permanent 12-hole course that gets morphed into this layout every other year, however the only hole that is the same is hole 1.
He is good yes, but I don't think he is better than Climo nor do I think he will ever pass him. Climo won 9 worlds in a row. Also McBeth is playing in an era with more and better discs than when Climo was in his prime.
Aaron Seidl Agreed. Ken "the champ" Climo is the the undisputed G.O.A.T. However, I would consider McBeth G.O.A.T if he wins 10 world titles (doesn't matter in a row), 5 USDGC, 4/5 European Open, 2/3 Japan Open, at least 2 majors every year, and 3 National tour every year for at least 5 years, but this is just my opinion. I agree with you that McBeth is playing in an era with more choices and better discs which Climo was handicapped and most of the players were playing with probably the same set of discs by Innova or Discraft. However, Climo was playing with very few players as compared to exodus of players of today's generation with equally top caliber which needs to be accounted and not to mention the course length were smaller and less trickier in the past. But again, Climo is definitely on the very top list. McBeth may be able to come close or beat Climo if he consistently plays on top level for 10 or more years which again is very hard.
Constructive Criticism: - 2 cameras to show both drive and where it lands would've been nice ... or a different camera angle if the shot was blind. - feels very "in your face" with lots of close ups - camera moving with the player pre-shot seems excessive ... zoom out or back up
westonp80 The governing body - the PDGA - came to be in the 80's. The sport saw steady growth up through the early 2000's, and has exploded over the last 10 years. In Finland it's a mainstream sport now, they are the #2 country in the world for Disc Golf (behind the US) - and they are fanatical about it. It's pretty awesome.
James Thomas That is awesome! How has the sport faired in the US? I know I have seen some people play it very casually in the park where they just pick spots and try and hit them, but nothing like this...
There's an estimated 500,000 players in the US. The game has seen steady growth (I've heard predictions of 10%) every year over the last 5 years. There are over 5,000 courses in the US, most of them free to play. It gets addictive very quickly :)
westonp80 I know disc golfing and Ultimate frisbee are extremely popular in Madison, WI. Maybe because it's a college town? Madison at the very least has one of the largest hula hooping communities in the world, haha.
The commentary on this video was mind-numbing. The same comments over and over and over. "What are you thinking on this hole?" They're thinking about getting their discs as close as possible to the basket. Please, just cover the play by play
justin Boyd No actually, many avid disc golfers are golf enthusiasts as well. I came to love disc golf because of golf. I play both. Disc golf is much more affordable, provides a very similar mental challenge, and in general has a more accepting and diverse group of players. It also takes about half the time to play 18-holes when taking into account a comparable golf course (length, difficulty, etc.). A few PGA touring pros even play the game and have PDGA memberships.
It’s absolutely crazy to see how far disc golf has come in 7 years. I wonder where we’ll be in 7 more?
Wish you guys had your own tv channel and do live coverage and help further grow the sport. It is such an awesome sport. Thanks for all you guys do
love the simple and smooth editing you guys do. Nothing over the top but very pleasing to the eyes. keep up the great work!!!

As a lifelong traditional golfer i find this strangely awesome
+funk44 You should get out there and try it. Its the cheapest sport to dive into and it really is a lot of fun. Just as much fun as traditional golf!

Are Paul and KJ wearing DUDE rain jackets? I've wanted one of those for a while now...
SpinTV is sweet! thanks for the coverage. also I met Paul McBeth today at am worlds. Just sayin.
Putting the "P" in the PDGA!

James Thomas Thanks man
McBeth = G.O.A.T.
nataskaos Not Yet :)
He is easily, no one close.
Umesh Chaudhari Agree, he needs three more worlds and a couple USDGCs to pass Climo
He is good yes, but I don't think he is better than Climo nor do I think he will ever pass him. Climo won 9 worlds in a row. Also McBeth is playing in an era with more and better discs than when Climo was in his prime.

Is Schuesterick wearing Gaiters?
Wow, so how long has this been a legitimate sport??? The crowds are impressive!

James Thomas Very cool. Are there certain states or parts of the country that house a majority of these players?

Oujee, tätä on ootettu!
Great Coverage. That gallery is huge! The diversity is night and day compared to the USA. Most USA galleries are 90% players.
vathanasong European tournaments always seem to draw big crowds like that.
Finally!
