Buttttt…..it is so much more than just food.
From the Sikh temple and kitchen to the spice market rooftop. There is so much culture and experiences to be had in Old Delhi, just waiting for you to experience it.
The Sikh kitchen is something I have always wanted to experience and see and honestly, words do not describe how beautiful of a scene it really is. A must visit when in Delhi forsure.
Now, for the food. I think a couple stops really made it hit home for me. The Lassi to start the day, wow, still one of the best I have ever had and even getting to drink it in the claypot glass. Amazing.
Favorite meal had to be the butter paneer masala with that crunchy, cracker-like Naan. The atmosphere, view, and incredible food all intertwine together for an enjoyable experience. Not to mention, my Mom is just oh so jealous.
For snack, the Kochi was everything I have always wanted, but I never knew it until I got to dig into this Kochi
Then you know we had to finish it off with something sweet. The first sweet dish was one of my favorite, but the Pan definitely takes it for uniqueness. An explosion of ingredients that just melt in your mouth and take over.

Max ,orientation is in order- chilli means green chilli/mirchi and pakora is always chick pea /garbanzo/chana( in Hindi) ,fried fritter as in a pakora . Hence,anything fried in garbanzo flour is a pakora ,be it potatoes,onions ,brinjal/eggplant,chicken,fish- anything . It’s just not a tempura batter

Max while the food looks great, there are too much frying in the food and hence the oil. I think there is an obesity problem there as well from the kids that accompanied the hockey players out to the pitch. They must resort to different approach to nutrition and also with junk food now prevalent in most large Indian cities, it is not a good prognosis.
Also love your visit to the Gurdwara as the langgar just showed the wonderful culture of the Sikhs in sharing. Sat sri kal, pak Max.
