You're good at presentation. It's shocking how many people do products reviews and are terrible at it; most that I've seen. Keep up the good work! Helped me out!
This is on sale for $79.99 as an Inside Track Club member-only deal from 12/5/23 thru 1/4/24. I don't see how I can NOT get one at that price. Thanks for reviewing.
Wow, thank you for that! I typically don’t include setup in my tool reviews - maybe it should be a new things. I appreciate you watching and commenting. 🇺🇸🤘
I'm for sure getting one thanks for the solid review. However I have one teeny weeny little Itty bitty gripe, and that is ALWAYS run a low speed when drilling through metal, and you'll avoid smoking your fresh new bauer drill bits! 😁🤙
It’s not bad for a cheap unit! I’ve always been a cordless drill kinda guy, but I look forward to putting this thing to work. Thanks for commenting as always man. I appreciate you 🇺🇸🤘
Thanks for doing this! I thought the LED wasn’t working. Fooled with the bulb. Scanned the manual. Gave up, straight here. 15sec later, you showed me the effin’ SWITCH. Sometimes I wonder if I’m qualified to use power tools.
Hi, I’m trying to put all parts together of my 12” Bauer. However, my chuck head set can’t move downward when I turn the feed bar seat. Do you know how to unlock? please help me Thank You
I recently tried one of these and was disappointed to find that it had unacceptably large runout; remounting the chuck several times did not help. In addition, there was visible flex of the table and column under heavy load, as when drilling a large diameter hole in a hard material (e.g. steel alloys) at slow speed. Flexing will result in a hole that is not square to the plane of the material; in thicker materials, the hole will curve and the bit will bind, or possibly even snap.. If your intent is to use this drill press for woodworking, with shallow holes in soft woods and thin sheet goods, it should be OK. Moral: you get what you pay for. I returned it to HF and got a full refund. In their favor, their associates seem to have a fair amount of discretion in whether to charge a restocking fee, and are pretty reasonable if they believe that you had a problem with the item. I'm sure that it also helped that I returned it unused, clean and repacked exactly as it was shipped.

didn't use loctite on the bolts for the shiny shaft. Fail.
@@judaspriestly88 Not necessary to use that in every application involving bolts. Thanks for the uplifting comment though 🇺🇸🤘
Greetings,
As always another excellent detailed video production 🇺🇸🍾🎉🇺🇸
Keep producing more videos
Great review of a good product
Thank you! 🇺🇸🤘
Nice video! I opted for the 12” model, it has auto speed control, crank for table adjustment and light and laser sight.
Nice! I hope it works out well for you! 🇺🇸

Oh - agreed. I was in the middle of shooting and neglected to switch the belt back. Thank you for watching 🇺🇸🤘
A Lower speed of 250rpm would be better for thicker steel. And cutting oil.
(Used motor oil, water and dish soap)Great review.
Every video should be done this well. This is one of the finest video on UTube.
I really appreciate that sir. I try to make content that I would want to watch. Simple, informative with no fluff. Thank you for the kind words.
You must be the wifey 😂 good vid bro
Doesn’t seem like a bad buy. Good review as well!
It's a great drill press! What's your status?
Good informative video Thanks
Thank you for watching 🇺🇸🤘
I bought one today with a 25% off coupon.😊
Nice!!!
Ive had mine a few months now for metal fab, and it goes through even 1/4 inch plate with larger bits no problem
Nice! I haven’t drilled much steel yet. Thanks for the feedback. 🇺🇸🤘
Thanks so much! The printed instructions were not very clear. ❤
I’m glad it helped! Thank you for watching and commenting 🤘🏻🇺🇸
Just got one! It'll help me with some metal projects. What metal drill bits would you suggest? Great video Jimmy! Cheers!
I bought the Bauer steel bits not too long ago. Worked great for drilling holes in bed frames. Thank you for watching 🇺🇸🤘
Thanks for the info…
Thank you for watching 🇺🇸🤘
Great starter drill press, will get the work down while you save for something bigger :-))
Once again, HF to the rescue !

Hey man, I haven’t used that one yet. Are there any setup videos on that machine? Maybe look up solutions on similar presses? Good luck to you!
I noticed that you leaned on the lid on your noise test. Is that because the lid rattles so much?
Nope
Can you add one of the drill press vices on it?
I don’t see why not!
How is the motor torque? Will this bog down with large hole saws or Forstner bits?
I haven’t tried that just yet. Motor seems to have plenty of power for a small unit.
Is there a laser to tell you where the drill bit will go?
Negative. Just line it up with the bit. Works every time.
There is a 10" that does have a laser and a few other features.
my handle is stuck wont crank down.. do i have to loosen the side nut?
Did you figure it out?
What is the distance from shaft to drill center on this model?
Six feet.
@@jimmysgarage9068 I'm sorry, I mean, the distance from the center of the bit, to the column.
will it drill holes into 3/8" iron or asking too much from the small press?
I’ll report back on that one. If I need to do that, I’ll post some content on it.
How does it compare to the previous version? That one has no oomph.
Never used the old one. I like this one so far though!
When is HF gonna pay you to do reviews? Lol
Hopefully some day! 🇺🇸🤘
Talkin' bout SHAFT!
You know it.

Are you trying to get demonetized? 😂
Because of the shiny shaft part? Haha
And your attraction to that shiney shaft 🤣
