Interesting! It looks good I am excited to use it when it comes out. P.S. Google desperately needs some competition a monopoly on search is good for no one but Google.
2 things: 1. I really wonder how Search GPT will monetize this. Seems to be the superior product, but where do ads come in? Do we pay $10/month? 2. I saw in an Authority Hacker video that Google Search hasn't been hit as these new services, so maybe we're creating a new market as opposed taking from Google
Yeah, this was based on a Sparktoro report. There doesn't appear to be much cannibalization from AI search, rather it's increasing the size of the overall pie. It's still early days though, and I'd expect there to be more disruption ahead as companies figure out how to use this new tech.
Not worried about it. from the example i just read, it was hella hard to read. I'd rather scroll till i find a meta data that makes sense. I think the answers are just a constant headache.
In Poland, this won't catch on because Poles hate generated responses. What annoys them the most is the political correctness that these chats have. The chat will have restrictions on uncomfortable topics, and that alone disqualifies it.
What about product results for e-commerce companies? If you want to buy a product they’ll have to show links. What are your thoughts on how they’ll display that?
So, Google is screwed but content creators finally have a chance to get back in the game with their websites, blogs, and even earn more money than from Google. I only hear good news here... Make them compete while we decide where our content is more appreciated!
Hey Matt , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
If you are under 30 start learning python and once you learn you can earn decent amount of money. After geting xperience you can move forward to data science using python and if get some additional skills of data science you will definitely much better than very experience SEO.
@@samiulhaq318 меня отпугнуло изучать python то, что это очень популярно и есть ощущение, будто рынок переполнен, особенно junior-специалистами. Я ошибаюсь?
With such approach in a few years no one is going to make websites. What is Open AI going to scrape then? An online desert? And btw as a user I'd rather go on website and read smth from a person with at least some credibility than scraped answer of AI which is notoriously known for its hallucinations.
Will SEO be around in the future? SEO will be around during AI era but the “search engine” is optimised for AI engine. Meaning google is changing their algorithm to suit their AI. Google AI will serve those using Google AI Gemini. SEO->Gemini->users. Thats the reason why we get rubbish for google searches nowadays. They are ranked for Gemini’s purposes. Google currently AI recommended results will be tweaked adjusted to list and cite creators’ contents. Somehow both ChatGPT search and Google AI recommended results will have Ads listing. So we might need to adjust our content to be AI SEO optimised. SEO will be ok and we need to adopt accordingly.
I can't see it taking off. People can't stand AI bots - think of your friends and family's reactions when they call up customer service number and have to talk to a machine instead of a person. Nobody likes it or wants it. This is why Reddit results have skyrocketed - it's the only reliably human response you can get these days. I think the next true contender for Google will be a search engine that somehow delivers authentically human responses. GPT will continue to be useful for coding, formatting and writing, but not much else.
People can't stand AI bots now, what about when eventually you don't realise whether you are speaking to a bot or a human. We're still in the early days of AI.
@@TheRemedy23 That will be even worse. People won't trust anything and will seek out authentic human advice. If you were searching for "best protein powders", wouldn't you prefer to read first-hand experiences of gym bros who used them? Or would you prefer an AI bot that sounds human? Common sense really.
@@nageldev i agree it will be worse and confusing, that was a response to customer service, if you're talking about searching for 'best ' then eventually most people will come to terms with whatever searchGPT gives you if you trust its being cited/a reliable source etc. The point is you wont feel the need to search out authentic human advice if you are happy with the search result and/or you believe its coming from a human anyway. I dont see how all this affects ecommerce yet and I believe video content will remain popular for a while but even that is potentially becoming unreliable.

Perplexity....competitor. Most people will still use Google as it's already on their phone.
People will adopt what's more convenient
More competition is welcome, the better experience for users and SEOs
SearchGPT has no ads... SO FAR
but its paid right? haha
Hhh@@whyycodm
just use foss xd hugingface lmao running flux
Yeah.. That will last as long as Google's "Don't be evil."

Perplexity has been doing this for so long already. Please talk about it in an upcoming video.
I love Perplexity. Have been using that more and more as a "search engine"!
There was a small comparison between the two at 2:44
I don’t like Perplexity. And it’s often incorrect (for my use case).

fuck google, this is 1999 all over again, nothing more beneficial to the market than healthy competition
Yea but I think should be cool to have to be in the “recommended result” - as a change or cap of creating a new market.
Hot Diggity!
Damn Diggity!
That was good!
Like every new store, company and platform. They start out great, to get us to use them and then they turn into their competitors
No ads for now.
Everything is clear. Brief and clear. No water. Thank you)
Another great video Mr Diggity!
Thank you for explaining everything so clearly. Everything is very clear. Like for the explanation.
Apple doesnt want to end the google partnership, they just want better terms. Microsoft (who owns openAI) is Apples #1 competitor.
Great video.
Be nice to have a search engine that gives the truth, and does not give "guided" results based on what the powers that be WANT you to believe.
On point as always. Thanks Matt!
My pleasure!
How would SearchGPT work if someone searched for something that would be relevant for a local business? E.g. 'best conveyancing solicitor brighton'?
*remind me in 1 year.
SEO specialists are biting their nails rn

If you still work in SEO industry, i believe we still okay.
😬
This won’t affect e-commerce sites. I can’t image buying shoes from AI.
Indeed
But AI will scrape ecommerce sites and scan the images to display them of whatever the prompt.
@@ZakirJaafar correct, but you can purchase items from a AI. No way for them to stock all the items and set up the infrastructure to ship it all.

this is the end
Waiting for demystification of GOOGLE

Too fast for me. What works real well is adjust playback settings to .75 speed. Set it at .5 for laughs!😁
Will we get SeachGPT Console?😂
Should I learn SEO?
Or learn another skill?

i left google when i heard abt searchgpt
One too-obvious solution to OpenAI being billions of dollars in the red is to . . . monetize: PPC, etc.
All these videos and nobody can say if SEO specialist will be a thing in the future..
Man, search GPT looks basically perfect from a user's perspective.
To know if google still relevant? Simple, just observe how the Genz or kids search for something.
